Didn't fit
i bought this off a Braswap user who got it from someone else who paid a penny for it at Nordstroms because the fabric tag got cut out. As such, the paper tag they attached is actually wrong, and although it says 32G, the Braswap user was correct in saying it measures in line with a 34E. Unfortunately for me, it was too large in both the band and cup.
As looks go, this is the prettiest bra i have ever seen. Im so sad it doesnt work! The bra is a rich, deep plum, with vibrant turquoise and orange floral embroidery. The top of the cup is sheer and has large daisy looking flowers, while the bottom half is more opaque with small leaves and flowers. I love how the same lace on the top half of the cup is on the gore, its so beautiful!
The fit is an entirely different story. First, it is clearly too big in the cup. When i first put it on, its not so apparent, but once i settle i get a pretty large amount of space. the cup doesn't lay flat against me, especially at the top where i lack fullness. if i pull on the top of the cup, i get an idea of the shape i could have-natural, slightly rounded. The band is also slightly loose even on the tightest hook, and very stretchy. i could probably size down here as well. I don't think the under wire comes up to far under the arms, and i think it's wide enough, but i cant wear the bra for long enough to know if it would eventually be a problem. the straps are half adjustable, with a decorative scallop shaped strap in the front.
The largest issue for me, and why I've decided to pass this on rather than deal with it, is that the gore absolutely kills me. I feel as if m being stabbed- i actually still feel bruised from the ten minutes i worse it, and that was a day and a half ago! no matter how tight or loose the band is, i get this awful pressure that's bad when i stand, and unbearable when i bend over or sit. this gore is higher than any ive ever worn. I tried some Freya's at Nordstroms that were around that height and also felt the same. My breasts are farther apart, and my sternum is all bone with no breast tissue, so higher gores don't work.
This is a beautiful bra that feels very well constructed, but unfortunately it isn't for me. Hopefully i can pass it along to someone who it works better for! This bra is not owned any more
