I'm not sure whether the print qualifies as retro or granny, but it's nice enough to look at. The bra isn't padded and is made of a breathable meshy fabric, without lots of lace (except a bit along the top of the cup). The band felt a little small/stiff to me, but will probably become more comfortable with wear. The cup was just small enough that I plan to try a size up.
