This is a lovely bra!

Ordering with Avocado's sizing (they use a 4cm rather than a 1 inch increment in their cup sizing) proved a little tricky. For my 30FF breasts, I ordered both the 65G and the 65H**. The H is at least one and a half cup sizes too large, but the G is pretty much perfect. There's the *tiniest* fraction of gapping on the larger breast, so tiny I'm not actually sure it's there and isn't just an illusion produced by the lace overlaying the thicker cup lip; if it is there, it's probably just an artefact of my being a little shallow on top.

The cups have good immediate projection, so they're FOB-friendly, and unlike a lot of other half-cups they don't flatten my breasts out wide and minimised. It's not as forward as, say, an EM half-cup, but it's not bad. The wires on this are wide, so anyone lusting after an EM bra who can't face her narrow wires, this would be a good alternative!

The straps are only partly adjustable, which isn't a problem for me; what does concern me is that they don't have any decoration or stitching to stop the extenders sliding, so I'm not sure how they'll hold up once they've got a bit of wear in them.

The band is pretty firm, I could easily have gone with a 70; consider sizing up in the band if you don't like your bras tight.

** To guess my size, I put on my best-fitting bra with the most forward projection (Freya Arabella) to take my overbust measurement, and then used the sizing chart on Avocado's website (http://avocado.com.pl/en/content/6-fit-guide), which put me in between 65G and 65H. The website recommends choosing the larger size if you're in between, but the smaller G worked far better for me.

  • This review was very helpful. I am now considering an Avocado purchase, whereas before I assumed their wires would be too narrow for my 30F/FF breasts. I actually can wear EM's 65F in Pl and 3D.

  • Glad it helped - they make beautiful bras! I don't know what their wire widths are like on their balconnette styles - it seems the wires on halfcups are always wider than on unlined styles, even in the Polish brands. But I have the Kyoto in the mail as my exchange for the 65H in this style, so I'll be able to report how Avocado's unlined style works in comparison to their half ups when it arrives.

  • Are you going to try their plunges, if they have any? I have to wear plunges because of no space between the boobs.

  • I'm the same, absolutely zero space between the boobs - even the Marcie's gore is too wide for me. Very frustrating. I'd love to try Avocado's K cut, which I think is probably their plunge, but honestly I suspect all the Polish bras have good gores for close-set breasts. It might depend on tissue firmness, but I found the gore on this bra pretty perfect. The Kyoto I have coming is, I think, the A cut.
