Didn't fit
This review is for the candy pink (SS13) colourway. I didn’t notice the seam tension error that a lot of people have reported with the red AW12 Marcies. The colour is a neutral pink - in flash photos it looks more blue-toned. The cups feel true to size, but the band is very tight. I measure 26” snug, and the 28 band Marcie is technically a good fit for me (no wire distortion etc), but it feels tighter than I prefer to wear my bras and it's more comfortable with an extender. The wires are also quite hard and inflexible.
The Cleo Lucy (5851) didn't work for me so I was hoping that the Marcie would, and I do like the rounded shape and relatively roomy upper cup, but the straps seem to be a dealbreaker: they just don't adjust long enough for me. Even at their maximum length they feel uncomfortably short, make the cups seem smaller than they are, and tend to pull the bra up in front (no mean feat considering how tight the band is). I’m only a bit taller than average, but the 28D feels like it was designed to fit a much shorter torso than mine. This bra is not owned any more
