Didn't fit
I bought the 28E Marcie after finding that I got major quadboob in the 28DD version, but that the shape seemed OK for me. The bra itself is quite...pink, although I still prefer it to the yellow Marcie I tried in the smaller size! The shape works well with my tall roots and even to full-on-top shape, and the cup size definitely fits much better than the 28DD. However there's quite a jump in wire width between the 28DD and the 28E, and I found the wires in the E cup to be too wide and to dig painfully into my ribs. This is a problem I get quite a lot as my boobs have narrow roots, but it was particularly noticeable with the Marcie, perhaps just because the wires are quite rigid and so when they're not sitting where they should be they dig in. It's quite painful at the gore too, which I understand is pretty typical of Cleo bras. Oddly, I get some minor in-cup quad boob where the mesh part of the bra meets the lace, again an issue I've read others complaining about with the Marcie. However, this isn't visible under clothes.
I do quite like the shape I get with the Marcie - not quite as nice under clothing as the Lily, but still pretty good for an unpadded bra - so I might try wearing it for a full day and hope that the wires become less painful once the bra's broken in a bit. I like having another unlined option besides the Lily, even if it's not perfect.
I also have the matching undies in a UK size 10 (a size up from my general clothing size of 8, as I have quite an ample bottom in comparison to the rest of me https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_mrgreen.gif" alt=":D" />). These run pretty small and the cut is quite unflattering on me too, as they're tight and cut in at the back - I'd probably even go up another size if I bought Cleo undies again. On the plus side, when I wear them with the bra they make me feel like a piece of cotton candy, so there's that. I got them very cheaply from mycurvesandme (£3.65) so I don't mind them being not perfect, but I don't think I'd pay full price for them or even half-price. Reasonable but not exceptional quality.
