Didn't fit
Finally!
So, I ordered this in 65H, because I heard the cups ran small, and the band runs loose.
I figured, a loose 30 band in a longline won't be too bad.
The band does indeed run verrry loose. If you want a snug band, go down. I'm 29" underbust and I think I could have used the 60 (28)band..
The cups do indeed run small, measuring about 8" maybe give a bit, in the 65H.
Even though this is a half cup, the cups are just a tad too tall for me and gape slightly up top. I could have gotten a 65G or 60H and probably been just a bit better off due to my lack of upper fullness..
The wire width..ah, yep, people are saying it runs wide, and yes it does. The wires are probably a half inch from my IMF. Not bad, but not as hoped.
The gore, yep, people have been saying it doesn't lie flat. My issue with it, I think lies in the fact that the band runs fairly loose-or maybe TTS(30") and it just feels a little too big. I'm pretty sure big bands can make it so the gore doesn't tack also.
The right cup is also too big, so I have one partly saggy cup, and the left is full. For the record, my right is smaller and more FoB, and I usually prefer fitting to the smaller one.
I partially feel like the cups look big. I definitely could have gone go 65G, and I realized that after trying Emanuelle 65F and immediately wished I'd gotten the 65G or 60H Joy Longline.
So yeah, half cup or not, I probably could have either used lowered cups or the 65G/60H.
Straps are great and adjust long/short enough.
I think I'd recommend going down a band if you're in between sizes (like go for the 28 if you're 29" like me; 30 if you're 31", etc.), go up a cup if you're even to FoT, keep your usual Comexim cup or get lowered cups if that's possible in a half cup- if you're more shallow on top.
Overall, I really love the look of this bra.
Fabric is smooth, padding is very minimal, thin, and not stiff. It's more like doubled up fabric, but with a thin layer of foam.
Great feeling.
I love the design and colors. I wish I had nicer skin and a fairer complexion because I'm not a big fan of how the colors look on me, but oh well.
The cups are wide and shallow, so keep that in mind with this.
Edit:
I want to mention that I adjusted the straps and the cups no longer gap.
That's great, as I was confused why 8-8.5" cups weren't working!
I'm unhappy with 5.5" wire width, but now that the cups fit, I'm going to be keeping this.
Great, as it's such a lovely bra and I got a really nice pattern xD
This bra is not owned any more
