Didn't fit
I was really surprised at how well this bra fit me. I really needed a simple, plain white bra with smooth cups, like a t-shirt bra. This bra is perfect!! It's exactly what I was looking for.
I normally wear a 32DDD from VS but couldn't find anything that resembled a t-shirt bra in a DDD. I did see the Showstopper and one Semi Demi Uplift but they weren't in white. I saw tons of white bras in a 32DD, but I have too many VS bras in a 32DD and none of them fit. They all give me major quad boob. So I had read another girl's review of VS's "Pink" line and how those bras tend to run on the smaller side. She also said she normally wears a 32DDD but can get away with a 34DD in the Pink collection. So I decided to give it a try. I was certainly skeptical, considering I'm a true 28 band! I figured, if anything, I could always take in the band as long as the cups fit. It's really not too bad at all. It's def looser than what I'm used to but it's much better than what I feared it would be. It's nice for those days when you just want a looser fit, or PMSing like I am right now (that might be why it's not as loose as I was expecting, def bloated at the moment and swollen). I'll have to update after trying it on about a week or two from now. Lol. But the band has a lot of stretch to it. So, if you are a true 34 band, it might be a bit tight at first but it's quite stretchy.
Oddly enough, the cups on this seem to fit me better than they do on the 32DDD, which really shocked me. Almost a perfect fit! Even tho the wires are a bit wider than I'm used to (I usually do well with a cup width of about 5.5" and this measured at 6.0"), I feel like they were a tad too narrow, or maybe the gore is just a hair too wide. But I have really close set boobs, so I usually have this problem with gores, where I feel like the wires are almost sitting on top of the inner part of my boobs. There is a 1.0" separation between the cups, and I usually need the wires to be touching or to have an extreme plunge style so that the gore doesn't bother me. But it's not really bothersome, I just wonder if I would maybe do better with a slightly larger cup. Surprisingly, the wires didn't wrap around my back on this. They came right under my arm, just where I like them https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> And, for once, I had NO quad boob! Yay! Which is exactly why I wanted a simple t-shirt bra and not a push up. The cups are more than just "lightly" lined. They're padded just enough in just the right places - thin and lightly padded at the top then it gradually thickens as you move down to the bottom of the cup. But it's not as much padding as the Very Sexy or Dream Angels push ups. Just enough to give a bit of lift, not so much with cleavage. And the straps seem to be placed just right for me and my narrow frame. Most bras I find the straps placed too far apart but this is perfect. And I think the placement of the straps on the back of the band help in how well this bra really fits.
I'm really liking this bra, and as always with VS, I LOVE the shape it gives me under clothes! This bra is SUPER comfy and soft, and it was def worth the $20! I may try taking the band in a bit but I can def get away with it as is.White colorway
