- Altered straps, Note: I measured my bra for Bratabase before doing any alterations. In other words, the measurements I've provided are of the original, unaltered bra. After narrowing the gore, the cup separation is .5" and unstretched band is 22.75". I also shortened the straps by 1.8" on each side, and narrowed the wires to 4.8" wide on my left and 4.69" on my right.
