Didn't fit

Wow, I'm really disappointed in this bra! I guess the best word to summarize my experience with it is dismay, considering it's so pretty.

So I have an Ewa Michalak BM in 60G that I don't really like because I don't find the shape it gives me very flattering, the wires are too wide, and the gore pokes me because it's too tall, but I loved the color of this SF Iris so I thought I'd try out her other main unpadded style.

I sized down in the cup because I feel my 60G is a hint too big in the cup, but this 65F gives me a bit of quadboob on my bigger side. The wire is too wide and the cup is too shallow on my smaller side, but the cup fits fine; the wire is fine and I don't get wrinkling in the bottom on my bigger side, but I do get the quadboob. On the whole, though, the fit really isn't bad. But the fit wasn't my main issue with this bra.

For some reason, the purple fabric feels really cheap. It's not *not* soft, but it doesn't feel like the level of quality I expect from a bra for which I've paid this much. The fabric of my BM Pin-Up Doll is much softer. The purple color is still pretty, don't get me wrong, but I would definitely describe the feel of the fabric as cheap.

I also CANNOT get this bra to fit comfortably. I put off actually doing an extended wear test on it for ages because it was uncomfortable from the first moment I put it on ― and wearing it for longer didn't improve the feel. I don't know if I can put my finger on *why* it's so uncomfortable, but I think it has to do with the fabric. The band especially is uncomfortable; I tried fastening it on the loosest hook and it felt too loose, then the second loosest and it still felt wrong, and I finally settled on the second tightest, which was a tiny bit better but nowhere near how I feel in most of my other Ewa bras. The gore also digs in and the bows slightly irritate my skin. I wonder if the cup being a little too small contributes to the band feeling wrong.

This bra gives a fairly minimizing effect, especially compared to my CHPs and Ms, but I don't have an issue with that. The appearance is nice, but the discomfort and the cheap feel really ruin it for me. I am probably blowing the issues out of proportion, but I'm not one to settle for a bra that's "sort of fine" over a bra that genuinely feels and looks nice and fits really well, especially for this price point ― hopefully others can relate to this!

Once I get home, I think I will list this bra. I still have the tag, but I took it off so that I could wear it out.

This bra is not owned any more

  • Sorry to hear that it didn't work out for you at all. I hope you find a better fit with this style.

Sovavosi thank you! I may just stick with her padded styles from now on since I find them equally comfortable. It's just a shame since it feels like the only bras she makes anymore are BMs.

  • Yes, it’s going to be a stiffer material than the pin up. It’s a semi soft and the lower cup is reinforced. It’s really pretty though.

  • Sorry I'm not sure I'm reading right, wouldnt a 65F have the same cup size as a 60G?? I have this one, the fabric is definitely stiffer than the BM which is a completely soft cup, where the bottom of this one is intentionally stiffer but not quite fully padded. But if you dont like it you wont wear it!

  • confused 65F has the same cup volume as 60FF, which has the same cup volume as 55G. 65FF has the same cup volume as 60G and 55GG. Down a band size = up a cup size! So a 60G is one cup bigger than a 65F.

  • Ah I forgot about FF that's what threw me off. I'm also not solid on how some of the different brands seem to sometimes use or not the double letters!
