Didn't fit

** I do not own this bra. I returned it as it did not fit properly.**

TL;DR: Beautiful bra, extremely comfortable to wear (once I put on an extender) and gives an incredible shape, but straps are too wide, cups are too open & center gore too low for me. Cups too tall at the wings for me to fill but otherwise overfilled them. Need at least 1 cup size higher - 2 cups sizes higher in total than my normal 30J. Looked amazing for about 2 minutes after initial swoop & scoop.

BAND is extremely tight. True Size 65, closer to 29/29.5 stretched. Needed to add an extender. A first for me with 65/30 backs. Will need to try a 70 band. For comparison, The Comexim Tara - unpadded 3HC longline - 65 band was much stretchier and I could easily wear on the second to last or last (loosest) hook.

WIRES are soft but strong. Very comfortable and did a good job of carrying the weight of my breasts so I could loosen the straps and still be quite lifted. Again, huge contrast to the unpadded 3HC @Comexim Tara where the wires buckled under the weight of my breasts - another first for me.

CUP DEPTH: are soft against the skin and VERY open on top with little projection on the bottom. No kidding with the cakes on a plate. Too open for my somewhat FOT breasts now, most likely because pregnancy and nursing and turning 40 have made my tissue much softer and I now need more containment.

CUP SHAPE: cups gave a beautiful upfront, rounded shape to all of my breast tissue that fit in them. Unfortunately, a LOT did not fit in and I had a lot of spillage at the center.

CUP HEIGHT / CENTER GORE: itself was soft and comfortable and tacked beautifully, perfect for my very close set boobs but far too low for my center fullness. Seriously, the Exxon Valdez has nothing on what my boobs were doing here. If the cup height had been about as tall at the center as it is at the wings this may have worked for me. However, the cups angle somewhat downwards from wing to gore, similar to their plunges but again, vastly more open on top. In addition, I had significant gaping at the tall edge of the cups by the straps, even though I more than filled out the rest of the cups. Typical for me.

STRAPS: Too wide-set for my narrow shoulders. Would have to have them altered for sure. Strap itself was Thick but not sports bra thick, strong and comfortable. Fully adjustable.

WINGS: Very comfortable, felt contained by the narrow wires. Very little tissue or skin sticking out under arm.

FITTING NOTES: Breakout Bras, where I purchased, advises to size up 2 cup sizes from your normal, and I now agree. 30JJ was at least 1 cup size too small for me. I believe I'm pretty shallow-breasted (still working this out) which is why I tried 1 cup size up.

This is not what I consider to be a true half cup. A true HC (for me) has a straight horizontal line from the gore to the wing. These have the correct vertical seams and rounded shape but the cups dip down from the wings to the gore at a bit of an angle.

I last tried bras on properly almost 5 years ago right before I got pregnant with my little girl. At the time this would probably have been my dream bra, but after all the changes to my breast tissue from pregnancy weight gain to nursing to aging this is no longer a viable option.

Going to list this as a Fitting Help request next - hoping with some alterations to make a Comexim work for me, as historically none of the US/UK brands have really worked for me. I have only had success with Half Cups and because I'm a true 30J I've always needed one cup size higher and never yet found it. So I wear bras that are too small. (Except in Curvy Kate, whose bras are far too wide for me and splay my poor girls east/west.) Well, actually, now I just wear sports bras because they keep me contained - not sexy, but more comfortable. The joys of motherhood!

Beautiful uplift, awful spillage @ Ctr gore & over cups. Lg. gap near top of cups by straps. Straps too wide.

Strap separation:
Are too far apart
Top of the cup:
Cuts into breast tissue (quad boob effect)
Band fit:
I can fasten it, but it feels too tight
Cup's width:
There is empty fabric on the sides (Cup too wide)
