- Center gore placement:
- Doesn't lie flat against sternum
- Cups separation:
- Too separate for my boobs
- Band fit:
- The band is definitely too big

Didn't fit
My calculated/recommended size is UK 28E; I got a 32C in the Soft Muslin color and Eyelash Lace Lightly Lined Bra variant just to test out the size at the very beginning of my ABTF journey. My measurements are 28"/27"/26" underbust, 32.5"/34.5"/33" bust. I would describe my shape as being projected, FOB, tall roots, very close-set, splayed roots.
Even though this quite a bit off from my "true" size, this honestly doesn't fit too badly. Though the Aerie bands tend to run a little small, for sure the gore doesn't tack, I can fit my whole fist under the band, the wires lift up from my body, and the bra functions as more of a boob hat than truly supportive. The gore is also too wide (a problem with all wired bras for me). This Eyelash Lace style is made of a T-shirt/molded cup with a lace overlay (and actually is smooth under T-shirts, despite the lace). I can tell it's a little too shallow (the wire sits under my IMF), but I think because of the very open top cut, I don't actually have too much weirdness fitting into the cup.
Despite the fit issues, this is pretty enough for me to keep! The rose gold hardware is just the nicest touch, too.
