Hasn't set fit
Probably not for everyone, but I love it. On me, it definitely minimizes and compresses. It holds my breast tissue firmly against my body in a way that lets me basically forget I have breasts. I like that feeling sometimes -- all spare and sylph-like. Also my best bra for wearing under button-down shirts -- not only does it help them fit better, I like the way I look better (I only wear button down shirts when I'm going for that kind of gamine look).
I used to have this in 32DDD and it was always a tidge too small (but I loved the compression and was afraid of going bigger). 34G is a better and more comfortable fit, and still gives me the held-in feeling I want from this bra.
It's more utilitarian than pretty (though I do like the bright seasonal colors, when I can get them!), and it's not at all compatible with very open necklines, but those aren't deal breakers for me.
Interestingly, the wires extend much further under my arms than the ones on other Wacoal bras I have in the same size. This means that there is about an inch of cup fabric that's just lying flat against my body on the outer undersides. But the cups fit well otherwise and when I've tried going down a cup size, they're too small, so maybe this is done on purpose to achieve the minimization? I don't know! If any of you elite bra geeks reads this and knows what's up, I'd love to learn.Rose Violet colorway
