My shape: close set, center full, full on bottom, average/narrow width roots, tall shallow roots, soft tissue.

I thought I would gamble and try some swim tops from Target since they have good prices and some cute prints.

This swim top actually fits. The straps on the back are nice and adjustable so it could possible accommodate smaller/larger band sizes despite being a 32” band. Edit to add: the band measurements I took don't account for the strings since that part is adjustable. The band goes from 20.7" to 23.6" stretched. I have around a 30.3" underbust snug to 31.2" underbust loose, and the strings adjust with room to spare.

The print is nice and bright, seems to be relatively well made. The cups are somewhat padded though,
and I don’t like all the padding. I usually prefer swimsuits that are lightly lined or unpadded. The description when I bought this said lightly lined, but I would consider this top padded and somewhat of a push-up. I sort of feel like I’m wearing an armor. The top feels very substantial in a way that it could potentially be very heavy when wet.

It does have this side boning on the sides of the cups, like in the middle of the wings which bothers me a little. It does give the top a more solid structure. If I had a choice, I would not have chosen it.

In the end, this top is just not my style, so I’m returning it.
