Didn't fit

In my experience, Natori makes really comfortable bras for smaller cup sizes, but the bras lack in support and shaping. Every Natori bra I've tried has a very stretchy band, cups that run on the shallow side, and give a very "natural" shape. This makes it a great option for those who prioritize comfort, but you'll have to sacrifice the support you get from a truly well-fitting bra.

The Feathers Contour Plunge is a popular style that for some reason never appealed to me before, but I noticed a friend wearing this as a maternity bra and thought maybe it would be a good comfort option for me as it's truly lightly lined. I haven't had success with unlined Natori bras so far since their stretch lace is so overly stretchy they provide no support, and I don't really like molded cups, so I was intrigued.

I ordered a 30D because I've found in my experience that the 30C is far too small for me when fully scooped. However, I was really surprised to find that these cups are also quite shallow and the 30D is also too small when fully scooped; however due to the increased width of the cup, it just flattens all my tissue out and gives me a pancake effect. I also tried 30DD and found that while the depth of the cup is better, there's too much empty space in the upper cup, and the sides of the cup by the armpit come up too high on me. In addition, while the band measures small, it is definitely very stretchy as the wings are made of stretch lace, and I feel it provides very little support.

On the positive side, I do find this bra extremely comfortable, and I would definitely like to wear a style like this while traveling. It sits nicely under clothing, and the true deep plunge makes it perfect under tops where my balconnettes don't work.

I would recommend this bra for small cup sizes that are wide and shallow, for people who don't need much support and would be fine with a flimsy band. Due to the plunge cut, it should work for different root shapes. I would not recommend this for breasts that need a lot of lifting or are extremely wide set and east-west, as the plunge cut could make you look really empty in the middle.

Band is extremely stretchy. Cups are very shallow and slightly too small, and if the band were tight enough, there would be more overflow, so need to try sizing up in the cup. Bra is not supportive and flattens out the shape, but is very comfortable.

Top of the cup:
Cuts into breast tissue (quad boob effect)
Band fit:
The back of the bra is not at the same level as the front (rides up)
