Didn't fit

The Audrey is my first foray into Polish bras, and it kept coming up in my Bratabase recommendations. Luckily this style is available from Amazon for a very reasonable price, so I picked one up to try. While it is absolutely gorgeous, unfortunately I learned that this particular shape is not for me.

This bra has a nice, sturdy tricot band that feels supportive despite being on the narrow side. The cups are sheer mesh with snowflake-like embroidered motifs, and the center gore is trimmed with an embroidered motif and a bow. While the embroidery is not as soft as a Simone Perele, it's not bad at all, and I feel that the cups are solid enough to give good support.

The only issue with this bra for me is the shape of the cups, which is due to the construction. The cup shape is both wide and tall, with slightly angled U shaped underwires. The cup itself is much taller than the underwires, which is pretty normal, but unfortunately way too tall on me. Most 3 piece bras have 2 panels seamed together to create the bottom cup, and then a third piece to create the horizontal top cup. The top piece serves to create a round shape and close off the top of the cup. This style has three pieces seamed together vertically like a scallop shell, but due to the construction, the top of the cups is very open. Imagine cupping your hand and holding your fingers vertically without angling them back in towards your palm-- that is the shape of this cup. Thus, this cup shape only works for someone who has a lot of upper fullness or very tall roots where a closed top would not work. On me, the tops stay open and gape even when standing still, because I don't have enough upper and root fullness to fill them out. In addition, the cups are just too tall on me, and they look a bit strange on my body.

Band feels ok, shoulder straps are set too far apart and dig in, cup fits larger side but gaps a lot on smaller side and when moving. Overall this super open top cup shape doesn't work on me

Strap separation:
Are too far apart
Top of the cup:
Wrinkles, can't quite fill it

Band is ok, top of cup is too open, hard to fill unless band is pulled very tight against body. Seamed cup shaping instead of 3 part cup construction is unflattering on me.
