Didn't fit

Ah, it's a truly gorgeous bra, and I was so sad that it didn't fit and I had to return it. I should have paid attention to the other reviews about this bra having such wide and shallow cups, but I couldn't resist... The cups on my best-fitting bra are about 5.5 inches wide, and the Alice cups measure 7 inches! I also found the straps too short - I guess my breasts are pretty low-set, but it's hard to believe they'd be long enough even if the cups actually fit. Fabric and construction appear to be of high quality, and the rose and pale gold embroidery on the dark gray background is very romantic. It's unfortunate that Masquerade is no longer in business.

The cups are wayyyy too wide and shallow for me; they cut into my armpits, especially on the right side where my smaller breast is. Underwires sit a good half inch below my IMF and cut into my ribs. I had to adjust the straps to their longest, and they still feel too short since they pull the sides of the cups even further into my armpits. Gore sits away from my sternum, probably because the cups are so shallow that they push my breasts into the center (makes for good cleavage, though!)

Center gore placement:
Doesn't lie flat against sternum
Underwire length:
Runs too high under the arm, it pokes
Bottom of the cup:
Can't quite fill it
Top of the cup:
Wrinkles, can't quite fill it
Cup's width:
There is empty fabric on the sides (Cup too wide)
Center gore comfort:
Underwires dig into sternum, because they are too low
Straps adjustment:
Straps don't adjust long enough
