I really liked the 32D Deyllo Lace Unlined Plunge but found it a bit too small in the cups. I decided to size up to 32DD hoping for a little more room in the cups, but unfortunately what I received was a totally different style.

There are two version of this bra, an unlined plunge, which was the original one I got, and a partially lined bra with a higher gore, which is this 32DD bra. The second style is not a plunge and it's not truly unlined. Because of the gore height increase, wires on the 32DD are significantly longer instead of 1 size longer. There's also significantly more fabric in the inner part of the cup because of the taller gore, so the fabric covers more of the breast than the 32D. So, the two bras fit totally differently, and the 32DD doesn't end up fitting me because now there is too much fabric in the cups. The straps are also too long and I can't adjust them down further.

Materials are also different between the two bras, as the 32D has a larger sized mesh used on the wings and the 32DD has a smaller mesh. Even the fiber content is different:

32D: 84% nylon/16% elastane cups, 66% nylon/34% elastane wings
32DD: 90% nylon/10% elastane cups, 92% nylon/8% spandex wings (you can feel the wings and cups are less stretchy than the other version

I am unsure if this is how the manufacturer intended for size differences or if there are two versions of the bra as I remember reading that the partially lined version is the "updated." A disappointment since I really liked the original fit.
