Update: Upon normal wear, the underwires poke and rub under my arms. Bummer.
This is a really nice, smooth t-shirt bra. The padding isn’t too thick, but it does tone down the nip poke to a reasonable level, which I love. I also love the color, which is just on the pink side of nude. Pink is my jam! That and the lace on the bottom cup edging and band sold me on it - it keeps it from being too plain and boring.
The band is slightly less snug than the 34D - Wacoal » Embrace Lace Contour Bra (853291) , which is good for me. The inside of the band is also less rough. The gore tacks and the cup edges lie flat. The cup is filled out fine on my larger side, but there’s some slight gapping on the smaller side. I don’t mind it, though - it’s not enough that I feel the need to add anything to that cup. This. bra provides good support, stays put in my IMF, and gives my splayed boobs cleavage and a nice round shape.
The wires initially seemed fine, although they came up higher under my arms than I’m used to. After wearing it for a few hours, though, the wire channel on my smaller side started to poke my armpit a little. It’s not terrible, but it does interfere with comfort a bit. It would be amazing if bras with different size cups/wires on each side were a thing! This one’s not perfect, but overall a good purchase.
