I love the unlined cups- I am now in love with these Paramour bras. It is non padded but not see through. I bought 2 different Paramour bras and I prefer the Sweet Revenge over this Captivate (but love them both). The three section cup (which I love) gives me great support good lift and great cleavage this bra is very comfortable and looks great under shear blouses.
While I would never admit this in my daily life these bras are quite sexy with the slight see thru lace. The cups literally hold my boobs in place all day long. I am finding the underwire is slightly too wide and the cup size slightly too small. But I think this is more an issue with my body build than the bra. I would 100% buy this again. One more thing that I wanted to note was the straps are nice and thick and they have this U shape that goes across the back and I feel like it helps reduce fallen straps.
It is fairly comfortable (for a bra): adjustable shoulder strap that are wider than average (a pro for comfort not so much for look) its a bit stiff so I'm moving around a lot or bending a lot I'm reminded that I'm wearing a bra but not uncomfortably, it doesn't dig in, straps don't fall off shoulder, .
It is very nice looking the lace is pretty and consistent throughout the whole bra, cut is sexy.
it is a very pretty and lacy bra. The surprise is that it is also very supportive. It is hard to find both qualities in a bra when you wear DDD cups. Very pleased with it.
I found this on a website about 3 section cups and thought I would share it:
To understand why this bra style is so perfect for larger breasts, it helps to understand what role seams play in a bra’s design. Partly, they are there to reinforce and strengthen the fabric, which is why seams are common on D+ bras in the first place. Even unlined seamed bras can be surprisingly supportive.
Seams are also there to provide shaping. Vertical and horizontal ones do different things. Vertical seams ‘direct’ the breast tissue upwards, increasing the amount of lift you get. Horizontal ones, on the other hand, allow the cups to be deeper (i.e. curve out further forwards), creating a more rounded shape.
A bra with vertical seams alone can be very lifting, but be too shallow for a full bust and/or have a flattening effect from the side. That’s why the 3-part cup with both seam types is perfect for larger, heavier breasts – it boosts lift and support while also ensuring there’s plenty of room in the cup for a projected bust.
I highly recommend this bra.
