Altered this bra to 60I/28I EU/US sizing, and it fits ahhhhmazing for something which is technically a full inch too small in the cup.
Likely as not this may be a full-on-bottom style that happens to not fight with my tall rooted, side-heavy breasts which are functionally FOB. The wires are much narrower & taller than average. Built like a comexim, shaped more like Ewa BM with somewhat stronger immediate depth at the cost of overall projection. This prevents my breast from being shoved out of the cup on sides where the wires can stab.
On first appraisal, Monica appears to be a quite narrow & deep cupped style made of very nice soft sturdy materials with a slightly felty feel. The main is typical thin airy foam, with a very stretchy fine net lace over. The lace is prone to gathering fuzz from clothing which then pills and requires 'shaving' or picking off. It's stretch mesh upper band looks to easily wrinkle and is incongruously lightweight in contrast to the rest of this bra, band seems a bit flimsy and stretchy compared to the easily compressed foam in the cups. The powernet is quite silky and unobtrusive. This becomes something of an issue with the lift and strength seen in the lower panels as upper even tissue can easily triple quad, at the cup + band seam and again at edge of the band (as is often seen in many other UK brands which have tried this textile pairing). On me, upper mesh band just crawls as far down as the width will allow it. Fantastic
While the straps of good quality, they are still a bit shorter than works for my large, tall shoulder blades, there is no cutting in or digging near tail of spence, which is unusual. I can't tell if this is due to the strap placement for this style/brand, more likely a side effect of sister sizing down 4-5 sizes off, so straps may be more side-set in larger cup sizes?).
