Hasn't set fit

This review is purely a pattern comparison. My gorgeous marsala-toned Serene has the exact came cut and size as ashy rose Rocha which is a certified superdeep/short root/petite-friendly hybrid (pattern is a dupe for Cleo Kayla but has a much shorter gore). While both are great for immediate fullness and projection, Serene is best categorized as more 'projected with even to somewhat bottom shallow fit' than Rocha's 'ultra projection-meets-bottom-fullness-with-allowance-for-high-fluctuation'. all this means is you'd want Serene for center-control for short, full, projected breasts, vs Rocha for 'god help it hurts, everything is too small and too tall'.

Serene differs from the plungey hybrid Rocha, in that its' very narrow set gore is taller, inner and center cup is half size less full, and is slightly less projected because it's a half size shorter in the bottom cup, and a halfsize shallower. This might just make it average or true-to-size Panache. Serene's supersoft materials and side support are also identical to Rocha's, but due to the nature of their elasticated lace upper cups one will get more of a closed, controlled or compressed feeling in Serene vs Rochas forgiving hug. Serene is NOT closed off. The upper bands are cut the same shape, height and width, but on Serene it fits closer to the body than on Rocha.
I've had Rocha for a year now and while I treasure it's ultrasoft build, low coverage and high support, it's snaggy lace made it always feet more like a 'sunday best' pick in my bra-drobe, whereas I can tell immediately that Serene's superfine sleek outer layers can take some beating about.

Both bras bands are cut very similarly with the same hypersoft microknit over fine powernet, and double-bagged technique. Serene's band however is cut slightly shorter than on Rocha, which leads me to believe that Rocha was designed for overly-full or more softbodied petites needing more support for heavy busts and back squish control, as an option should Serene not fit them well in the dressing room.

Serene's straps are cut 2" longer than Rocha's in this size- and it includes a J-Hook to convert the fit to racerback which gives the impression that Panache's design team is considering real humans in their sample process and allowing for some variations in frame differences.
