Didn't fit

This is a lovely bra that I bought last February! The FABRIC OF THE BAND is so soft and comfortable. I'm not entirely sure what this fabric is (lol), but the band reminds me of my Avocouture bra, which is a Polish luxury brand. It is not a cheap mesh bra, like the ABrathatfits sponsored brands (Elomi, Freya); the ABrathatFits sponsored brands (Wacoal, Panache, Bravissimo) are all overpriced. If you want more "bang for your buck," you have to go with the ethically-made/ethically-marketed brands.

I got a ton of wear out of it while losing 31 pounds, but unfortunately since I lost 3 cup sizes & I'm back to my old bra sizes of 70HH or 70H in Comexim, it doesn't fit anymore. which is an excuse to buy more Comexim bras obviously.

If you have a narrow & projected shape (aka, front & center boobs), I highly recommend this brand! In Europe you can buy them directly from their website (Comexim.pl), or from other stores. In Canada or the U.S., you can buy them from Breakoutbras.com - which is especially useful if you don't know your sizes. OR you can buy them directly, which is useful is you already know your sizes in Comexim.

edit: I just wanted to add, *one* of the problems with the ABraThatFits sponsored brands, you are paying for all of that marketing!
edit2: A note on sizing, they are much more consistent in sizing than the inferior ABraThatFits sponsored brands - I find their sponsored brands (Wacoal, Panache, Bravissimo) to be so inconsistent in sizing.

Thanks for the review! This bra is so pretty!

I love all the bashing of the popular brands you snuck in here... I recently checked out Bravissimo and was shocked at how their bras that used to be 30£ are now 40£... they are not worth that much! Also nothing that is actually pretty enough to spend that money.
Good to know the mesh on this bra is way better than on like Elomi Matilda!

In their defense, I think Bravissimo (& EVEN FREYA!!) used to make MUCH BETTER BRAS. Look at how cute this Bravissimo bra was from 2017 https://letstalkbras.wordpress.com/2017/02/21/bra-review-bravissimo-etta-longline-28fg-bravissimo-satine-plunge-28ff

Freya, circa 2012 was praised online by this bra blogger - here is a post from 2012 as proof. https://line4line.blogspot.com/2012/03/ive-got-mail.html

But as time goes on, she mentions that Freya has dropped their perfect fit (for her) and their quality. I know she was a bit fan of Freya Phoebe https://line4line.blogspot.com/2013/03/this-is-like-six-posts-in-one-but-you.html

I never was a part of the proper bra-fitting community when Freya was a good brand though.

Yes! I mean I am the first one to praise Bravissimo! I wore their bras for years. But I ended up having to return more and more.
34L - Bravissimo » English Rose (LN357) was my go to, it was sturdy and indestructable! The original Lacey was my go-to for years. Then they started making a lot of spin-offs like Lacey Bloom, Floral, Boho what ever. Lacey Bloom, the lace on the band ripped when I tried to put on the bra, the Lacey Boho was such thin fabric it would not even hold a shape and the seams dug in weirdly. The Alana bra which I also had many over the years suddenly had straps that folded in itself. Each bra got worse. Straps were so stretchy they made the whole bra weak. Then they started to do 2 hooks up to HH or even JJ cups.
Discontinued the Arla which was SO unique - 4 hook band and the design ...
Now they sell a ton of flimsy sheer mesh or lace bras with extra straps over the chest, thin shoulder straps and 2 hook bands. No thanks. Quality went downhill so much.
They had such cute ones in the past. Sometimes I wish I could time travel to 2016 to go buy all the cute bras I that I could not buy back then because they did not come in my size.

Btw I was shocked to read negative reviews on Panache Tango (a bra I thought was basically indestructable) --- nowadays the wires poke through in like 3 months!

Freya Pollyanna was recommended as a starter bra in large cups when I joined the brafitting community (around 2012-13) but it was discontinued soon after and I don't remember that there was a follow up that was agreed upon. The consensus was that Freya just does not work above H cup, even though the made those sizes.
99% of their bras I tried would not work for me. Lack of support and some were even offensive in cut. I get that the Deco is a good one if you fit the shape and there's a reason that is their bestseller. Offbeat is not the worst but could be improved.

The gore looks like it is wider than on the padded plunges?

  • 1

    Let me do a comparison.

  • 1

I compared it to Comexim Bubbles padded plunge and I measured the gore the same https://www.bratabase.com/compare/dighq/

  • 1

Thanks! I can't wear too tall gores. I got a reply to size up 1 cup in soft cup compared to plunges from Comexim.

  • 1

Size up in soft cup? Hmm. I actually sized down. I'm about to do another review on their same style, unpadded 3HC. I got a lot of wear out of it, but then _ because of my weight loss - I lost cup sizes, so I don't where it anymore. I'll link the review below.

alisa, I mean, I would listen to what Comexim says though, they're the bra makers.

  • 1

Yes I found it weird too...to size up in a softbra... usually one has to size up in padded because there is less room in cups? Padding makes the cup more shallow?

I looked today into r/polish bras but I cannot join. I wanted to ask about Polish bras with high apex cut (I don't know if that ask would be ok in your group?) I did an adventure about it here.

I changed the forum to "restricted" for both comments & for posts - I didn't know that makes it so that people can no longer join the forum, I might change the settings!

Ah okay, I really do not know reddit well. My account was only made to post in braswap. I think I just try bras --- like I always did. Now at least I have more options in my size and don't have to buy Elomi or Bravissimo.
