Didn't fit

Normally wear a 30DD, sometimes even an E. Not sure what inspired me to try a size down, but I thought the 30DD seemed too full coverage and/or made me look pointy. This was a good bit too small on me in the 30D. The lack of depth pushed my chest towards the wires, and the wires being both too narrow and incredibly firm made the bra...hurt me pretty bad. I also got quadding on the top, which I should've forseen.

It seems like 30DD was the right volume, but a little too projected and just cut taller than I need. I do NOT recommend sizing down in the envy if you think it's just too projected but not actually too big in volume - a bra with wires this firm and a band that runs as tight as the envy will HURT if it is too narrow, much more than a too small-cup-but-huge-band bra will. Some shapes can get away with sizing up in a too shallow bra. However, sizing down in a a bra more projected than you doesn't work because the wires are just too narrow.

This bra is not owned any more
