Measurements for the Loren (26G?) 28G from TheBigBraBar:
Stretched Band - 28" Band Length - 24" Cup Width - 5.5" Cup Depth - Left cup is 8.5", Right cup is 8" Wire Length - Left cup is 8", Right cup is 7.5" (I have the measurements given for this on the measurement part for the Right cup) Cup Seperation - 1" Strap Width - 0.5" Hooks - 2
This was ordered as the long awaited 26G, but when I got it in the tag read 28G. The actual size of the bra is more like a 28E... I'm so disappointed in this and having to wait 2 months for it (3 from time of purchase), I knew ...it was too good to be true. I contacted Nikki and she said it was most likely human error that it said 28, but the band measures the same as my 28's from Freya. The cups are labeled as a G (UK sizing). So if this had been the 26 I was supposed to get I'm sure they would have fit like a 26F (that's 2 cups smaller than what I need)
I don't know what I'm going to do with this. I'm not too impressed with the quality either. - Cups are not eased into the band correctly, wrinkles along the seam when it should be gathered smoothly and evenly. - Straps were made way too long, even for someone tall (I'm 5'4"with a very long torso and my breasts start lower on my chest, strap length is usually not a problem). Though they can easily be shortened by moving the d-ring. And this was one of the only problems noted by the owner. Everyone else must have gotten perfect merchandise =( - The top of the foam lining is showing beyond the lace moreso on one cup than the other, and there are pieces of the main fabric not trimmed away from the top lace very neatly, others are still wrinkled underneath the top white lace. - Loose thread ends and stitch tension that looks too loose. - The left cup is larger by what appears to be half a size than the right cup. - Thread tension on elastic is loose. For a garment that's supposed to support and be very fitting this is not good, stitches can rip because of uneven tension. It looks like their bobbin thread was too tight and top thread too loose (in the photo this would be the top blue thread showing as loops over the black thread).
I'm assuming it was a rush job due to replacement. (first one was stolen in transit, unfortunately)
ETA* As I was taking pics for this and the one for the back, I heard a thread snap. Nearly an entire inch of thread came undone because of shoddy workmanship. I can understand this from maybe like a Hanes bra or something cheap, but not a bra that costs over $50!! I'll stick with companies I'm familiar with from now on. Read more 377 more words
I do have to commend TBBB for offering 26-bands. There are a lot of small-backed people and companies making 28-bands that fit like 30-bands, so it's great to see companies attempting to fill the need for smaller band sizes. This particular model, however, did not work as well for me as I had hoped. The band itself is nice and tight. The center gore is low, and the underwire channels are constructed to overlap a little in the front - good for its plunge cleavage-enhancing style and for people who are close-set. The straps are WAY too long though. They are also too far apart in the back; ...almost as if the band was constructed as a larger band size, then taken up under the arms, bringing the straps too far toward each arm. That itself wouldn't be a huge deal, but the cups are way too small, to the point I'm assuming they're mis-sized.
Aside from fit issues, there were unfortunately some construction issues with my bra as well. They were several of the same issues HLAleo mentioned in her 28G review for this bra. The right cup on my bra was actually a little bit smaller, but it looks like an issue with the size of the blue fabric cups. The foam cup liners seem to be the same size, but the fabric on the right cup is smaller than that of the left, making the cup not only smaller but distorted as well. Also, the seams on the cup liners and the seams on the fabric cup do not match up with each other. This results in an odd flattened stripe down the front of the bra. There were also some stitching and fraying issues in places.
Had this bra fit, it would have no doubt created great cleavage. Hopefully they will keep working on their 26-band offerings, and maybe encourage others to follow suit. Unfortunately, the fit and construction issues I had with this particular bra made it unwearable for me. Read more 226 more words
This bra is just too wide for someone as small as me (5'2). The cups are too separated, which gives me a slight east-west as well as pointed look, and the straps sits in my armpit. Besides this the cups seems to run 1 size small. Aside from these issues its a beautiful bra, and from looking at the stockphotos it is gorgeous in the right size.
I bought this bra as a little birthday present for myself and with the knowledge that it is not meant for daily wear. It was available for a low price and it is fairly cute, so I thought I'd give it a go. It has a lot of overall construction/engineering issues, runs small in the cups, and runs huge in the band, but it is good enough for what it was intended for and that is fine by me.
The 2wenty8 Bette has a cute, vintage-inspired appearance and has a unique cup construction which seems to be made to enhance cleavage. There is a sort ...of "sling" sewn onto the side of the bra, but it is not sewn onto and combined with the rest of the cup, which results in it becoming scrunched toward my armpits. The cleavage I get out of this bra is okay, but nowhere near Freya Deco level "Wow!" cleavage. The tissue on the upper half of my breasts is rather shallow, however, so that might be why.
I was surprised at how soft the lacy material of the cups was. The cups don't make my boobs and nipples itch like crazy, which has happened with a lot of other bras. Upon examining the seams, I did see some imperfect stitching and flyaway threads.
The cups seem to run rather small and they are not as sturdy compared to the Panache and Freya bras I have tried. I love how low-cut this bra is and I wish that such a low-cut shape were easier to find for my breast size and shape. Having a fairly shallow, self supporting breast shape, I think I could get away with such a bra. The cup construction does not "hold" my breasts and somehow seems to enhance boob jigglinness. Even in ill-fitting 32Cs I never had a problem with my boobs jiggling, so when I wore the Bette, it was quite shocking. I swear my boobs jiggle less when I go braless compared to when I wear this thing. The band runs very large and feels more like a loose 30 or 32 than a 28, so there's not much support going on with my 24/26 ribcage. After I swoop and scoop, I get moderate to severe quadboob at the top of the cup, while the top of the center gore gets pushed away from my body.
The cups themselves don't seem to look very smooth under fitted clothes and I wouldn't recommend wearing this bra for more than sitting around doing homework or maybe some light grocery shopping as long as you either wear looser tops or wear a jacket or cardigan and can put up with any jiggling. Not much more than that.
The straps seem quite wide-set and they verge on sitting in my armpits, which is probably the most uncomfortable aspect of this bra for me. Even though the cups aren't itchy, the straps are.
I appreciate that the company that made this bra put in their time and effort into making more sexy and fun bras in my size range. I hope that they have learned more about bra construction along the way and that they continue to improve their bra construction while keeping them cute. I am glad that even though this bra does not fit me that I at least got to try it out. Read more 470 more words
A strange bra. Really difficult to fit well into unless your breasts are really firm, or possibly full-on-top because there's no support to "lift" any other type of breast.
The sizing is off. I read in an interview by Investinyourchest that they used a Curvy Kate bra as the template to make this. In that way the wires and cup size fit similarly, and they run small. I need a cup size bigger in Curvy Kate than say, Freya or Panache. They used their own band design, which does run a size big. There's also only 2 rows of 2 hooks in the back.
It's certainly pretty enough, just difficult to make work. And I suppose there's certainly sex appeal, which I understand is the purpose of the bra, but it would work better on firmer breasts for sure.
Fits like 30F-FF, really wide. A lot of empty space/extra material under my arms because of it! Could pull it really far from my body (62cm underbust) even when at tightest hook. Seems somewhat supportive (e.g I would go to the supermarket in it if it fit round the band, but not anything requiring much movement!). Enough nipple coverage for my likings, and usually I go for full coverage (even in sexy bras). The lace is really soft and double layered in the cups.

Cups are too small, maybe run 1-2 cup sizes to small, band is too large, more ideal for a 30" underbust or a 29". Someone who is a 30F would fit this best I think.
Wow https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_surprised.gif" alt=":O" /> I'm a sucker for pretty things, and I must say this bra is gorgeous!
Other pros: The cups are padded slightly to prevent nipple show through and underwires are shaped very round. It's perfect for wide boobs and breasts with implants. Straps are fully adjustable and they do not really stretch.
Cons: The band stretches incredibly... had no idea that a 28 would feel like a 32. Because it is so big, the cups are tipped forward a bit, creating wrinkles in the fabric. If I take in the band though, it would eliminate this problem. The cups are seamed, which means that it will show under tight fitting shirts.
Even with the negatives, I still really like this bra and will take in the band to get a perfect fit.
Update: I noticed that the wires like to warp on this bra after I tightened the band, especially in the center, causing it to be very painful if worn at the correct place.
