Oh gosh. Okay, i know i have no business trying to squeeze my boobs into these cups. But goddangit, this bra is just so beautiful. It's a princess bra. I scoured the internet to find it and this was the only one i could find. If i tuck and pull and scoop with all my heart, i can get everything in with minimal side spillage. I'm keeping it just because it's so gorgeous. I'm wondering if the equivalent Affinitas Marilyn comes in a DDD. I'd probably be the happiest girl in the world if i could find one...
That size must be way off for you, 'cause it looks like stretch lace, which should accomodate *some* size issues.
I *adore* unlined bras!
Yes. It's at least one cup size too small, maybe even two. But it's not like I'd be wearing it often.
I do too. I had never worn one before I got on here and started getting interested in this stuff. Now I only wear molded cups when I absolutely must, under t-shirts and such.
Gorgeous!!!! I would definitely try to squeeze into, too. Beautiful!!
That is really pretty... I love the details that come down the sides.
unfortunately due to nip sensory issues i cant really wear this anymore https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" /> its very pretty but i cant stand the feeling of the mesh, seam, or lace on my nips. will be posting for sale https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />
I simply love this bra, having small breast and a large rib cage presents difficulties in finding the right size but this one was bang on. Bra is comfortable even when wearing for prolong periods and doesn't poke. Extra straps in the front mainly for looks but also makes you feel sexy while wearing it.
Wanted to see how true to size a us bra would be in this size. I was pleased with how tight the band actually was. The cup maybe slightly smaller than my UK 30F bras. Cups too east west for me quads mostly near the gore, fits well on the sides of the cup. I have an older bra in this style, but before I knew my real size. I like the purple colorway of that one as compared to the new colors which look cheaper, but I'm sure thus size is new to these most recent colorways.
This probably isn't the strappy bra to end my strappy bra search, but I'm pretty happy with it. I was actually quite happy wearing it yesterday, but looking at some of the pictures I took in it, there are certainly fit problems. This was mostly with slight gaping in the cups as I moved around, which I can deal with.
Bad:
The gore doesn't tack at the top. I hardly ever have this problem anymore, even in 32D or 32DD bras that aren't quite my ideal size. I wonder if it's partially the fault of the cutout gore? I've never had a bra with a gore like this.
The ...shoulder straps are so long and stretchy, but fully adjustable at least. I adjusted them to almost the shortest length to get a good fit ... but I'm 5'6 so this bra might not work for more petite or high set ladies.
The seam in the middle of the cup gives me a pointy shape and may show under clothes. Not my favorite cup shape.
The cage straps fit me well, unlike in previous bras I've tried, but they rub my armpit fat area in an irritating way when I'm sitting or moving because they're so tall.
I don't fill out the bottoms of the cups and the bra tends to slip down and not sit in my IMF, though I can make it for awhile.
The included bottoms run huge. The size chart pointed me toward a large, but I got a M. The M is a bit big - I could have done with a size S
Good:
It's pretty
And cheap.
Band fits tight/true to size
And now the question remains if I keep it and deal with these things, or move on to the next one. Read more 181 more words
Move onto the next...cheap is not necessarily a reason to hang on and you have about 3 words in the good and 350 in the bad which is never a good sign...
I am a 28E and I knew that with the xs-s-m-l-xl system, I would need a xs band, but that the cup size would not fit. I opted for a M because (blindly guessing here) I think i have medium sized boobs and I figured I could alter the band down to fit. Sadly, the wires and cups are still too small, while the band is much too large. I would say that the wires are at least two cup sizes too narrow and the cups do not even contain half my boob (lots o nipplage). This is a "final sale" item, which means that I can exchange, but not return it, so i'll exchange for a large and hope for the best.
Update: they sold out. No exchange :-x This would probably fit about a 34b.
How is adoreme with the monthly cancellation? Is it easy to do?
Prettyncharmeuse , Thanks! I took a Juna 28f ad just added straps instead. It was easy enough. I haven't cancelled my subscription; I just choose "Skip the month" every month.
I'm so happy I found this brand! Actually saw a commercial for Adore Me on tv and decided to check out their website, then downloaded their app. Very similar to Victoria's Secret, but at half the price! And as a VIP member your first set is only $19.95, free shipping and exchanges (in the US), and your sixth set is FREE!!! Doesn't get much better than that! And with my lingerie addiction, this deal was too good to pass up https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_wink.gif" alt=";)" />
As soon as I saw this print, I instantly fell in love with it. And I have zero bralettes, it was a ...win-win! I LOVE this set!! It's so simple, yet adorably sexy and feminine. The satiny material is super soft with a nice touch of lace trim. I wasn't sure what size to get in this simply because I'm unfamiliar with this brand and their sizing. But I opted for the Medium (normally wear a 32DDD in VS or a M/L in bikini tops). Since this is an unlined bralette, I figured the Small would be too small in the cup but the Large would be too big around (in the "band"), so I played it safe with the Medium. It's almost perfect, but the band is a bit loose around and hikes up a bit in the back (and a little in the front as well). But other than that, it's perfect. And did I mention how gorgeous it is?! Lol! The pics don't really do it justice. And the matching panties (Small) are so cute, and sexy. I feel they fit true to size.
I can not WAIT to buy more lingerie from this brand!! I wanna try out all of their styles!!!
Hi! I'm thinking of getting this set too. I'm a 28 band. Do you think a small would work? I saw that you are a 32 band and got the medium.
It's always so hard being a small band with a larger cup. I never know what size to go with! Lol! So I usually opt for a Medium. But the band was def too loose and the back rode up on me with this and I never wore it, ended up selling it :( I was worried the small wouldn't be big enough in the cup but it might have worked for me.
Thanks to whoever voted this review down. Just because it doesn't fit doesn't mean it deserves a bad review.
So beautiful!!!
Thank you :) I'm a little bummed I sold it, but it was just a tad too loose/big around in the band. It was so pretty, and shiny ;)
It looks so comfortable which is my primary metric ;-)
Oh absolutely! It was most definitely comfortable! And so silky soft :) I'm all about the comfort. I need to feel comfortable and confident, no matter what size may be on the label. It might not be a perfect, "proper" fit, but if it makes me feel, and look, good, that's all that matters in my bra world ;)
What a beautiful set. The colour and the print is really cute and feminine. Bralette's are so comfy to wear and this one looks really comfortable. I have to agree with you and dressthetwins that comfort is everything, sometimes i think we get so caught up with the size that we miss how comfy an item really is.I love this set and looks great on you. Thanks for a great review
So pretty and soft! I bought this one from the wonderful kerniss . Thank you so much for sending it so fast! Sorry it took me so long to review it. I love it! It's my first longline bra. The fit is very good, similar to my 30DD Wacoal Retro Chic bra. Pictures tomorrow when I have lighting that will show off the pretty subtle shine of the lace. There was 1 hook of the 5 bent but I was able to fix it easily. I only have 1 problem: the bottom edge of the bra wants to roll under itself a tiny bit. It never gets severe enough to be visible, but I do notice and correct it every 3-4 hours. I have a relatively short torso. It's not something that would make me let go of this pretty pretty bra!
The cups of this fit better than the 30F, but they are still very east/west and shallow. On this bra I sewed the straps straight down to the cup without the angle I used on the 30F, this improved the lift but not the shape. The same thickness of boning is used here as well and again, will warp. The lace is lovely and the satin is the same Dusky Rose color used in the Parfait Charlotte, I am not however fond of the buttons. This bra is super visible beneath clothes, the lace, the shape, the buttons, it is not one to wear when going for a natrual look! The prettyness of this bra does overcome it's shortcomings for me.
I bought this from AdoreMe.com because it looked identical to Parfait by Affinitas Fiona camisole. I ordered my normal Parfait by Affinitas size of 30G.
The size is right on. The silky material makes me feel so sexy. The only issues I have with it are: 1) that clasp on the zipper bothers me if I wear it too long. 2) the gore is slightly too tall for me which then as it adjusts to my body pulls the cups down lower than they should be, since the wires do not want ...to lay on top of my breast tissue. 3) I did have to shorten the straps.
I almost think this this could be worn as outwear with a high waisted black pencil skirt to go out to bar or a nightclub on a special occasion. Or at least to Rocky Horror Picture Show.
I do wonder how this would compare to the same camisole with a Parfait by Affinitas label. I wonder if the finishing would be just a little more perfect. Like maybe, they send their rejects to AdoreMe.com. Edit: On the inside there are threads sticking out from the seams. On a camisole with the Parfait label, I'm not sure if they would send it out like that. But it could just be the nature of the fabric. I tried trimming the threads a little, but then I accidentally cut a hole in the body of the fabric, and decided it wasn't worth it to try and trim the threads anymore. Read more 178 more words
Adore me sells Parfait products, they are the exact same product just re branded. If you look at the tag you'll see that they've cut off the Parfait one and sewn in their own.
Thanks. I did notice that. When I ordered, I also asked one of the representives and after some prodding, she eventually told me that Affinitas are one of their providers.
There are some threads sticking out on the inside of the garmet, and I wasn't sure if that would be up to their standards on the normal label. But maybe it is just the nature of the fabric. (I tried trimming the threads, but then I cut hole in the fabric. Oops!)
this is one of the adore me bras i held onto the longest, but my size definitely has changed too much. but even when i was a 32H the brand was enormous; it constantly was riding up in the front over my boobs, especially when i lifted my arms. like other adore me bras i would say the cups run great but their bands are definitely run huge. the bra itself is super cute though, wish adore me would make I cups! posting for sale or exchange! NOTE: this review is for the old line of the bra from 2021, not sure if it's changed much recently but i did see they added some lace to the back of the straps.
i originally tried this on in-store in my sister size 36ddd, and as the employee insisted, a 32dd. (if you've never been to an adore me store, don't.) it didn't fit as i'd like it to and one of the employees offered me to order it in my size 32h. now, the fabric is very comfortable but the cups are definitely made for a wide root. the go past the center of my armpits. i don't remember noticing this in the store (probably too furious from the employees trying to tell me to try smaller sizes) but it's a big problem as it's extremely uncomfortable to wear. i also have a bit of gapping at the top (most likely from the cups being so close in the center and too wide.) i'll most likely list it for sale.
This is my favorite bra. It's clearly too small and I purchased it before finding this site. I love how the side panels pull everything in. The band is a little too loose, though 34 is usually a little tight and 36 too loose on me.
That size must be way off for you, 'cause it looks like stretch lace, which should accomodate *some* size issues.
I *adore* unlined bras!
