This is my first bra purchase since discovering my true size of 30D/30DD using the A Bra That Fits calculator. With that being said, this particular bra is a sister size for my measurements and it fit good enough for me to want to bring it home. Had there been a 30D in stock at the store I would have loved to try it! Regardless, this bra was exactly what I wanted in a bra after being fitted into too large bands my whole life and wearing only bralettes for the last 6 years.
I find that the band is quite snug on the loosest setting for a 32, ... so it definitely runs small in the band. That has started to relax some after the bra has seen about 20 hours of wear and I expect to move to the next set of hooks very soon. I also find the fabric to be absolutely delightful, very soft and buttery with enough stretch to allow the molded cup shape to be a little more forgiving and flexible.
The gore is quite comfortable and tacks very nicely for me. Having never experienced a gore tacking properly before this was a pleasant "secure" type of feeling, not too firm. The wires do not poke me on either end, and I find the wires wide enough for my (I'm fairly sure) wider root shape. I also do not find the wires to be too stiff.
The pushup effect is lovely! Gives nice cleavage without being "too much". I would say it's moderate, meaning not a little or a lot but somewhere in the middle of what I think a pushup can do. This is exactly why I chose this bra even though it's not in my measured size, it gave me my preference in amount of cleavage without being uncomfortable or causing me to spill out.
One of the issues I have with this bra is the width of the straps being just a tad too wide for me. This is probably more so due to my petite frame than a fault of the bra, and I do understand that demi straps will be attached out on the sides of the cups intensifying the wider strap placement.
Another issue I have noticed is once the bra has been on for about a half hour I start to get gapping at the top of the cups where the straps attach if I do not keep very good posture or if I reach forward. It is not extreme gapping to the point where I feel this bra is a bad fit, but it's definitely there. I find it odd that it only becomes an issue once I've had it on for a little while and as far as I can tell the band has not shifted, the cups have not slid up or down, all of my tissue is still in the cups and the straps are comfortably snug. I know this could be because the height of my roots are shorter and I possibly don't have enough fullness up top or I may be a little too projected for the cups. I am wondering if my body heat relaxes the material after a little while and it's stretching more than when it's room temperature?
All in all, this isn't going to be a holy grail bra for me but for the price (and that it was easy to source locally in store) it is a good bra and I am happy with it. I will say projected and short root height breasts should be cautious of the fit even though it's a half cup, but it may still work for you!
