The Amoene Frances is a soft cup is surgery bra that I bought after my breast reduction surgery.
Sizing is kind of between the precise cupsize and the general as the S-M-L type of sizing . It comes small to 2xl and 4 cupsizes . I bought Medium E/F after trying on a Large in store (after the surgery ) and the band was riding up too much . I had 33” underbust before surgery and was wearing 34 K ( eu 75 N) bra. Now after the surgery my underbust is 35” and the Medium ( EU 80/85) band fits the best. This E/F cupsize ... seems to be the largest and it first my currently 42” full bust circumference.
As all post surgery bras, this has front hook closure. It has only a single column of hook , so you can not adjust it , and the strap is also not adjustable.
To make up for the lack of adjustments possibility, it is made of a high Spandex content and it has 12% elastan . This makes it very stretchy and surprisingly supportive at the same time . Otherwise the bra is cotton, which is a big plus for those prefer natural fibers .
I prefer the support of my other Amoena post surgery bra to this , but this was half the price. But I actually bought it for the colour . My other higher end Amoena post surgery comes only black and white and happy that this one comes in nude colour so I can wear it under my light coloured tops.
While I do not need it, but it has a pocket for prosthesis, which is great for those who lose their breast or part of their breast due cancer .
Many people I talk to online just buy the fruit of the loom front closure sports bra after surgery , which looks almost identical to this . I ordered both and sent the fruit of the loom back , because they may look the same / similar , but they are nowhere near same in terms of support . The fruit of the loom is a typical cotton jersey with a 5% Spandex content and as a result have much lesser support than this .
Otherwise the bra ugly as hell, but nobody buys post surgery bras for their looks
