I tried this bra on in a couple of different sizes last Friday when I was at the local specialty shop. This was the first style we tried. It’s not my best shape/style/fit. It was a struggle to fit the “wires” in the right spot, and the fitter was concerned about the straps positioning and whether they would fall off. As a result, she brought me a Momentum Pro, which is my next review. I tried a Chantelle sports bra that was wired in a few sizes (reviews are already up), and we mutually agreed that it fit better than the Anita bras. That said, if I had a spare bit of cash and found one of these for super cheap, I’d consider it because it was comfortable. I did measure the band but have completely forgotten what I got. I believe that this was comfortable with the last hooks and I fit comfortably in a 29-30” stretched band.
I bought this while pregnant, the first of my bands below a 34/36 so at the time I thought it fit great! But now....I fit 28 bands pretty consistently and this one will now stretch to 38-40" without much trouble so while it was comfortable for pregnancy there is no way it actually fits me properly. It's been worn a lot but the band was always at least a size to big.
Materials are very comfortable, soft and stretchy. Cups are US sized and have a lot of give which is great. Nursing clips are easy to use. The lace cups are attractive, very ...thin (definately won't hide nipples/ nursing pads without a liner of some sort) and don't show under shirts but overall it's a very basic nude bra.
Straps are quite wide at the shoulder, again comfortable but they show out of necklines easily. If you fit in the size range (definately go down at least one band size, every review I read said the band runs big) it's a nice maternity/nursing bra. Very much built for function and comfort. I don't think it would be that supportive for large cups but as this doesn't truly fit me at all, I can't judge.
It has been washed and worn a LOT so overall I would say it's held up very well besides the stretchy band. Read more 128 more words
Wearing for the first time today. First impressions - Fabric under wire rolls/tucks under and digs. Seems like this is a common complaint browsing around online. - Great job lifting and separating my wide root, close together knockers. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_wink.gif" alt=";)" /> - Arm pit feels odd... but I can't tell yet if it is wire or material that is causing the issue.
Best cup fit I have found. The underwire digs a little, but it's okay. Despite online descriptions, this is entirely unpadded - i.e., you WILL see your nipples through a tight shirt if you're not wearing nursing pads! Nursing clip works well. The band feels a little tight on me, and leaves marks sometimes. I can't tell if it's just because I'm used to something looser, or if I should get a larger band size.
This bra is very comfortable. it is one of my favorite everyday work bras. Unfortunately it is only an average level of support so I wouldn't recommend wearing this bra if you will be doing lots of activity.
