I saw this bra in person in a thrift store and decided to give it a shot in my size, especially since it goes for about 7p on eBay. The band is really tight, I can barely hook it on the first set of eyelets. The cups fit like a dream, but the band could have been cut a little bit deeper under the armpits. The underwires are a bit uncomfortable, similarly to my Panache bras ( especially the 32F - Panache » Tango Ii Balconette Bra (3251) and 32F - Cleo » Melissa (6991) ). All in all, a decent bra with a good price tag. I will definitely look more into Ann Summers.
Ann Summers as a brand has really weird and often inconsistent sizing. I am normally a 30FF or so in standard UK sizing and thankfully this was the least weird bra there size-wise since I just had to sister size up. The bands usually run snug by 1-2 sizes and I'm honestly not sure what's going on with the cups. Ann Summers uses a non-standard progression (DD - E - F - G - H), but even after I figured that out I was still off by multiple cup volumes a lot and kept having to guess at what sizes would work in other styles.
This bra has a bit of a scratchy feel. It is a push-up bra, which can be a bit difficult to find in this size range, and it gives a decent amount of cleavage. I feel like this would be good for a night out, but not for everyday wear.
On paper this bra fits fine - gore touches, cups are filled, etc. However the cut is ridiculous. a 32F bra with 1 piece non-moulded cups??!? It is wearable only as a 'bedroom' bra - aka, put it on to take it right back off. I also find the materials to be itchy. It's beautiful and I love the black lace with ivory details, but it's a silly bra that is useless to be worn under clothing.
It is beautiful on you!!
