I thought I would need a 34 in this, but I don't. The band runs pretty true to size, so it's too big for me.
I ordered as a Sophisticate with additionally reduced cups. I still get that little gap by the gore--hopefully by talking to Anna I'll be able to figure out what it is, the width of the gore, the height or something else (the gore is very low and narrow).
For the short time I tried this on it was extremely comfortable. All I feel is the lift at the root. The band is lined with soft fabric and the padding in the cups is super lightweight. The lace is really pretty and has a touch of metallic to it.
I'm sad that it didn't fit but the great thing about Anna is that she allows you to exchange altered bras.
I looooove this bra! It's so pretty and super comfortable. I'm actually wearing it right now! The grey looks a bit more blueish in the photos… but the bows and straps really are a lovely deep charcoal grey. I ordered this bra through Erica at a Sophisticated Pair. She didn't have my usual Anna Pardal 34E in stock since the bra is being discontinued, but did have a 34F. She thought it might work because of the alterations made to the Sophisticate cut - reduced cup, straps moved in 2-3cm. I am so happy that I ordered the 34F. It fits perfectly! The 34E would have been way ...too small on me. This bra has a lot of projection, narrow wires, and amazing lift. The fabric is silky and soft (much softer than the silky fabric used on Comexim's basic bra). The straps are thinner that any AP or Comexim bra I have, but I love them. They are comfy and don't cut in to my skin/shoulders at all. I also love that this particular style/size has 3 rows of 3 hooks. Read more 75 more words
This is my first Comexim or Anna Pardal bra. I ordered from A Sophisticated Pair and I wasn't expecting to keep it, I just wanted to see how a Comexim bra would fit without alterations. It's actually great! I would definitely prefer reduced cups because there is empty space up top, but the top section lies flat so it's not visible under clothing. I like the rounded, projected shape it gives and it's also very pretty. The straps do pinch/itch a little in the back and the wire digs in a little bit on the side, so I don't find this to be as comfortable as Ewa, but it's a close second.
What causes the wire digging on the sides? I have a Lily that really digs and the band is not too small.
I'm not sure... It isn't too narrow cuz I've had bras of the same width that didn't dig.
Perplexing. My hypothesis: our projected breasts push back on the wires when there isn't enough immediate projection. If the fabric is powerful, this may not occur. Plausible??
Is the immediate projection sufficient? Beautiful!
