Honestly, I think this is one of the loudest articles of clothing I have ever owned. I got it when I was desperate for a swimsuit and it was the only one near my size in the shop- and I was kind of enamored with the little pocket on the briefs https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_razz.gif" alt=":P" /> But I've hardly worn it, not being brave enough to go out in such an outrageous pattern. Plus I quickly outgrew it and found a better-fitting swimsuit.

It is well made, though, and definitely a bathing suit you can actually swim in. Nice and sturdy.

I'm not a fan of halter necks- ... they tend to dig in the back of my neck, since my boobs are so heavy. But it does have the benefit of being pretty much infinitely adjustable.

This is definitely a bathing suit made for wide, shallow breasts that aren't close-set, which is basically the opposite of my boobs.

The band is pretty tight for a 34- I'd say it's more like a 30. But it only has one clasp in the back, rather than rows of hooks, so if it stretches out you can't move on to the next hooks. Also, the fabric becomes a bit stretchier in water.

This bra is not owned any more

CUT
The cut of the bra is really nice. The bridge or core is not too wide or too high nor are the shoulder straps too wide-set (usual problems for me). The cup is a classic-cut full cup, with a horizontal seam in the middle (not bulky) and unpadded. The band is wide enough, ab. 12 cm just behind the cup.

FABRIC, DETAILS OF SEWING
The fabric a a good compromise between support and comfort. (Fabric; 53% polyester, 29% polyamide, 14% elastane and 4 % cotton). The shoulder straps are supportive (integrated to the bra band at the back) and wide enough, the fabric is double with a softer cottontype fabric ... against the skin. The edges of the band are sewn with a flexible zigzagging seam, which means that it is comfortable against the skin (no itchy lace or thick hard seams).The inside of the cup is lined with a smooth fabric on top, the bottom with soft mesh. There is an extra folded piece of mesh sewn vertically to the outer side inside of the cup - a structure to support the breast from the outer sides. The mesh lining on the bra band seems to be double.

STYLE, COLOR, DESIGN FEATURES
The background color is a light cream color. The print designs are in a soft brown which Antigel calls "brown sugar". The cups and front part of the shoulder straps have "boudoir style designs", which means 19th century dainty floral pattern with bustiers and little bows. The band has the same colors but with simple dotted designs. The middle of the cups is decorated with two superimposed ribbon bows, one of translucent brown chiffon, the other of narrow creme sateen. A little metallic heart is attached to the bows. Cute and simple.

I use is as an everyday bra, especially nice for the summer. I do think that the fabric on the band will, however, stretch with use, so with similar bras it is adviseable to take a snug band size from the start. I got it in French size 90F, but 85G would have been a 100% fit and then probably the sides of the cups would have fitted better, now they appear a bit wide at the top.

EXTRA
This is already an old bra style from Lise Charmel's Antigel and is not readily available any more, but they have always at least one similar type bra in their collection for the season (now it is Flirt au Trianon). All their bras come with a choice of several styles of panties as well as other garments (camis, nighties...).The wear and tear usually shows mainly on the band which stretches and then looses its elasticity. Best to buy such Antigel bras with a snug band size.




Antigel bras are Lise Charmel's younger style and prices are moderate compared to the more expensive but more supportive bras in Lise Charmel main brand and bigger cups brand Eprise.
