I have shallow, moderately wide breasts that are conical and slightly tubular. I am athletic/muscular.
This is the tightest band I have ever tried on in my life. Seriously. It's a 30D, and the /stretched/ measurement is 26.5". Good news for smaller bands! Even though it doesn't come in a 28 band, those who would prefer a 26 band should give this bra a try. I think I'm going to return it and try a 32C (I never thought I'd ever have to say that).
Another cool part about this bra is that even though it's unlined (or perhaps very very lightly lined), it works ...well for me. Normally my natural breast shape really dominates any unlined bra (which is not something I go for). This bra, however, manages to round out my shape very nicely.
The bottom of the cups is very, very shallow. It might even be too shallow for me (I'm not sure on that one, I couldn't properly scoop and swoop into such a tight band).
The bra is very very soft, which is nice. The bow in the middle is silly, and if I kept this bra I'd remove it in a heartbeat. Not a huge fan of only having one hook per column, though. Read more 108 more words

This bra has the widest-set straps of any bra I've ever tried on. I was struggling to keep them on my shoulders for pictures. The straps dug waaay into my armpits, and were equally as wide where they attached at the back. There's a bit of lace coming up from the cup with the strap - I don't think this lace would lay flat on anyone, even someone with wide enough shoulders for this bra.
The straps themselves are wider than most, something that's not seen very often in bras my ...size. The cups are padded/lined, and are fairly comfortable. The lace is nice and not too delicate, though I see a few loose threads. The band is true to size, which means that it's a bit loose for my 28" ribcage.
The cups actually fit my very shallow breasts quite well. If it weren't for the straps, I'd consider keeping it. Otherwise, I just can't really recommend this bra for anyone - the straps just seem unreasonably far apart. But if you've got shallow breasts and are willing to modify the bra, you could get a sweet strapless out of it. Read more 107 more words
This bra is perfect for me - flat and open cups, with an undersized band.
I almost always have trouble filling out bra cups (not enough projection), and sometimes get a mock-quadboob(?) where the top of the cup cuts in. I have trouble finding small enough bands, and I think I have shallow breasts. I would recommend trying this bra if you have similar issues.
Pros: + The cups are flat enough that I can fill them out! + The edging is soft and loose and doesn't cut in at the top. No chop-boob for me! + Fabric used for cup lining and wing feels soft and delicate. + It's pretty, and makes ...me look like an adult! Amazing.
To note: = I definitely agree about the band sizing being off. I ordered this in a 30B, and measured it at 26.5", stretched. I also ordered the 32A, which measured about 24" unstretched, 28.5" stretched. Not great for online ordering, but SUPER FANTASTIC for anyone looking for a small band! = The underwire seems to be on the shorter side/hits lower at the armpits. I like it, but it might give less support for those who need it.
Cons: - The band has very little stretch once you put it on. I kind of like this, but it may feel less comfortable to others. Makes it harder to put on. And to breathe deeply. When I tried on the larger band, it immediately felt like it was riding up in the back since there was so little elasticity holding it in place. This doesn't seem to make any sense because the bands are so small, but I think the elastic is just not very rubbery and doesn't pull in very firmly. - The fabric feels very delicate. It's soft and lovely, but I am worried that it may damage easily. - The darts in the cup aren't the smoothest, they are just a little bit pointy on me. - The felt covering the underwire channel is thin, and I can feel the edges of the wire with my fingers. Seems like it may wear away sooner than on other bras.
Cup shape is good for FOT or even shapes. Band is stretchy, true to 30 or a little tighter. My UB is 26" but I can get away with wearing this if I want a more comfy loose fit. I'm shallow and even but get gaping in top inner corners of the cups. I like how soft and flexible these cups are.
Edit: I've grown in cup size and am now a 28E. The band is still loose but the cups no longer gape. I fill them out to a smooth top line. However they are too short and much of my tall root is exposed and jiggles around.
it feels like a cheap, slightly deeper and more FoB version of a deco strapless. the gore comes up higher, digging into my body if i slouch. also, some of these allow for removable straps, but mine are sewn onto the cup. either the model has changed, or the quality control is bad.
Band runs tight, a 30 fits like 28. The quality of the bra is so so, there were some loose threads. The straps are adjustable in the back so no problem if you're petite or have a shorter upper body. I have tall roots, the cups were too closed on top for me and gave me pointy elf shoes boobs.
Although the band on this bra is actually very tight, the straps are a bit too short so it tends to ride up at the back. The lace cups are unpadded and should be treated carefully since I've already ripped it. Just be aware that there's a strip of elastic across the top of the cup which can cut into you.
The band of this bra stretches out a bit over time and is overall, not uncomfortable to wear. The cups are very shallow and are mostly made of mesh with a bit of padding down the centre. There's also a strip of padding and lace across the top of the cups which cuts into me a bit.
This bra is quite comfortable to wear but has a very stretchy band so it can move around a bit. The cups are extremely shallow with very little projection and unfortunately have a sort of pointy profile that is visible through clothing. Also half the length of the straps are ribbon which I find weird and a bit annoying since they have no stretch at all.
I knew ASOS Boudoir ran tight in the band, but holy cow. I can't imagine this fitting anyone over a 26. My BTT is about 27", sometimes even closer to 26" and I couldn't even hook it without an extender for fear of snapping it in half. I would have tried it a band up but given it was on clearance, it was sold out. Even on the loosest hook of an extender I felt like I couldn't breathe properly.
The cups were close to fitting, but not enough to keep. The shape seemed... odd. I can't really describe it. I think they were wide enough, but I only ...had it on for maybe a minute before giving up. The gore is very triangular, the wires touch at the top, but it's not a super high gore. This is probably great for some people though. The cute scalloped trim at the top of the cups would not and as far as I could tell, could not, lay flat which made it look weird. It didn't just wrinkle or look empty, it stuck out at odd angles.
The overall quality was not great. The side sling was much firmer than the rest of the bra which made a weird bulge and it was almost scratchy. The seams in the cup looked sloppy and weird, the fabric of the band and front of the strap was thin and wrinkly looking. Had the fit been great, I could have said, hey it's $12, but at the regular price I think it's pretty unacceptable. And I've gotten plenty of way nicer bras for less than $12 when I thought I was a 32B, so I still think there's no excuse.
If you need a very small band and you find it on clearance, it could be worth a shot. At least if you're getting free shipping and returns, otherwise I don't think I'd risk it. Read more 210 more words
I have a wide root and shallow boobs. I do need flat cups but not extraordinary wide wires. I almost don't have any volume on top. I usually wear this bra when my boobs are smaller during the first weeks after my mestruation.
The band is very tight and feels like a 28 in other styles. The cups appear to be true to size, they are very shallow and wide wired. I guess they are kind of open on top but I'm not quite sure. The bra has silicone strips inside and can be worn with or without its mulitway-straps. It gives me enough support even if I'm wearing it without straps.
Opted to try on a 30B after finding 28D to be too uncomfortable and unable to fill out the bottom of the cups. No luck here either. The cups are far too deep for me.
Odd thing about this bra. It has lace for 2/3 of the cup and paneling behind the lace on the outer 1/3. The strap attaches to the paneling so that the tension from the strap creates an odd wrinkling in the lace that doesn't have the support from the paneling. Not a fan even if it had fit.
One look at this bra and I knew I would not fit into this. I'm much too shallow and conical for the cups. I could fit two fingers in each cup in the extra space. The band was perfect tho!
Beware, other non-squishy 28s: these @ASOS bands are *really* small. On the other hand, if you're a 26, you might want to snatch these puppies up.
I bought three 30-bands at the same time, in two cup sizes, and couldn't wear any of them due to band tightness. I have a basically no-squish 28 chest measurement. Otherwise the shape seems promising for the (very common) shallow, wide set breasts in this size range.
Honestly, I am rather upset at the fit. I feel this may be more like a 28AA than a 30A. It's surprising to me since past Asos Boudoir bras have fit me fine (except one, due to its design though). The design is still very lovely and I would have opted for a 32A if it was in stock. Recommended for narrower chests and remember that this design runs small.
The cups of this bra may fit better on a 30AA chest as the satin panels seem to have some padding in them, which leads to a double boob. This has made the bra very unsightly, for my 30A chest at least.
This (strapless) bra would be great for shallow breasts and people with a 26'' ribcage.
This bra is VERY tight on a 28'' ribcage. Tighter than unlined Cleo bras. The tightness also makes the gore dig into me and it's very uncomfortable.
It's a shame because this is a fantastic strapless bra for shallow breasts. The only one that actually doesn't do funky stuff like cutting in at the top.
Great for shallow breasts. No gaping on top. Removable straps. Bright pink color. Poor construction, already fraying and ripping, after only 2 wears and no washes.
