This bra is shaped for very protruding breasts, not shallow ones. The band is a bit loose but it's tough to get on anyway so that's probably why. The band was very secure regardless, due to the longline shape.
Cheap and cheerful. Comfortable enough, padding isn't too substantial and is pretty soft. Bought DD & E to try on, band size noticeably inconsistent between different sizes of the same style. Smooth appearance under clothes, though I don't wear particularly form fitting clothes so ymmv
A review, but first a plea for more measuring! As part of my scientific experiment to find a bra that fits (ABTF -- join the Reddit group!), I have been buying, trying and returning (wish I were keeping more) bras from everywhere, including less expensive bras, such as this one by ASOS. I hope you already are or all will become fellow (? female?) scientists with me, and add more bras to this fabulous database, even if you don't keep them. Since joining this site a couple of months ago, I have added 97 bras, and will be adding at least 40 more over the ...next month. I have found all of your measurements and your reviews so helpful in deciding what to try.
This bra: This bra is very good-looking. My partner called it "striking." If you are center full like me, it will give you amazing cleavage (especially if it's too small for you, like this one is!). It will probably give you cleavage no matter what.
The ASOS site doesn't have any pictures of anyone wearing the bra, so I'll provide one for you. Keep in mind that this is a size or two too small for me! Don't be put off by their designation of sizes. I normally wear a 30FF or 28G, and this 30G is too small for me. Read more 123 more words
Very cute bra. My breasts are differently shaped from each other; one is a bit wider than the other. This bra gives me a slight quad boob on my wider breast. I don't think it's too noticeable as long as I don't wear tight-fitting clothing. I wouldn't wear tight-fitting clothing with this bra anyways because the headlights can show through sometimes. It's lace, after all. This bra also gives me a bit of a weird shape on the side. Side quad boob is maybe what it's called? Anyways, I think I could wear this bra well with a bra extender.
I really wanted to like this bra because it's the first 28DD bandeau bra I found and it's pretty. The band size is fine and doesn't dig into my torso. When I put on the bra, the shape is a bit weird-looking from the side, which I don't like. If the length between the top and bottom of the bra was longer, I might like the bra more. There's no padding, so maybe I should've gotten a larger cup to fill in the area. I have average projection and and full on bottom. When I walk around, the bra stays in place. I haven't worn it all day, though.
Comfortable bra. The lining of the bra can show through t-shirts if they're thin or you're wearing a shirt that hugs your figure. Gore doesn't sit against ribcage because there's no underwire. If worn all day, there were slight line marks on my torso, but disappeared after a few minutes (which happens with most of my snug bras).
The sizing on the label seems a little whack - it says UK 32D, EU 85D, US 32D. I think by EU they probably mean IT etc. I bought this bra on German ASOS where it was labelled as 70D.
My breasts are very malleable and pendulous with lots of empty skin after weight loss. I have narrow, short roots. This bra feels soft and stretchy, with a line of even stretchier fabric along the top and bottom of the cups. There's a little decorative ring attached to the gore which sadly is lopsided on the bra I got.
It's super comfortable and supportive, but gives me slight quadding and compresses my boobs too much which causes lines and wrinkles in my skin (visible through the sheer fabric). I think a 70DD would fit great but sadly it only goes up to D cups.
This fits because it has a firmly formed padding curve. There's no underwire to keep tissue in place, but there's enough curve and pressure to mostly keep things in line. The gore will not tack because it's not an underwire bra. This bra pushes me closer together than any other bra yet. The bands are made from jersey (assume to match the gray heather pattern) and they HURT. I will have to put pads on them.
This bra is very pretty but the fit on me is dreadful. I really thought this was going to work. The body is good and is firm enough although it is 30 (although I could probably wear a 28 too if it came in that size). It has just a tiny bit of padding on the bottom, so looks like a non padded bra but has a bit of uplift. I thin the cup is actually the right size just the wrong shape. Although it looks like lots of quad boob it is more that the top part that is unpadded puckers and folds over so then i fall out of the bra. But if i could just get it to sit flat the size would be ok (In one of the photos i am trying to hold it down flat to show that the size is actually ok if it didn´t fold over). I have this happen in several bras, although it is more extreme in this one, and am not sure what causes it.
I initially bought this in 30f but it was too small (Fitted my sister who normally buys 30e very well). Then I bought the 30ff thinking it would be great but the shape just wasn´t right for me. It seemed way too wide, even though it is a bralette and has no wires so being wide shouldn´t matter (it isn´t as if there is a wire to be too wide) but it made it feel weird that the material went too far under my arm. I feel i need to take it in a bit at the front. I don´t know if the seem is meant to fit near the centre of the breast, but for me it was no where near my centre and was too far towards my back. It is a pity as this bra seems much more supportive than a lot of bralettes so would have been amazing if it fitted. (The 30f looked amazing on my sister).
This bra is very pretty and exactly the style of bra I am always looking for. It is also very supportive. But the fit is terrible. Firstly i ordered a 30f and it was way too small, so then i ordered a 30ff and it is still too small. However the cups just also seem very shallow and wide. The wire goes way round my torso under my arms. The shape is weird and i still have some quad boob (although maybe this is becasuse it is so wide and shallow and if it had more depth and less width the actual volume of the cup might be ok). I love that it is low under my arms even in the 30ff. I wish this cup fitted.
The back size is really comfy too. I think a little tight for a 30f (which is what i need).
