Of all the Asos G cup bikinis I tried, this is the style that I was most looking forward to, that I most desperately wanted to like.
The Hidden Underwire bikini is available in Paper Floral (grey brown with muted flower print) and a ton of really nice looking solid colours including black and white. I bought the Paper Floral print.
When worn... on me anyway... the result is way too much cleavage. In all these photos I have swooped and scooped to create some definition. But I gave myself a bit of a shake and almost fell out of the center of the bikini (and to show you the ...natural result, I took a close up of that too!).
The underwires are spread very wide in this shape. They don't really push you up, they really push you in from the lower sides. I have quite centered breast tissue, and clearly this style is just not giving me enough coverage towards the center of my chest. Either that, or I have been supplied with a size E cup mislabelled as G.
I feel as though this cup is about 3 cup sizes to small for me. But I think that is the style, not the actual size.
Would suit women with very firm breast tissue, or wide set breasts.
The band is a great fit. The fabric print and quality was lovely to the touch. The bikini is made very well and I think it would look stunning on the beach. This is more like what I would find in one of our local Australian surf shops, not like what I'm used to from full-cup ranges.
Also - the bikini bottom for the floral print is awful on the bum, the size 10 was a good width across the hips for me, but didn't cling properly to my bum cheeks at all, just kind of hovered over them. I would definitely be tugging all day to keep my bottom covered decently, an I barely have an ass!

Ok, here's the deal about Asos Swim. THEY LIE. They claim their house brand sizing is UK. It's not. It's US. I learned this the hard way, by ordering a "30G" in 2 different styles, and they came tagged as UK 30F/US 30G. Since I wear a UK 28G, I knew it was trouble before I even tried it on. Little did I know how bad it could actually get.
The other style I'll review later is workable. But not only is this hidden underwire bad boy not the size you'd expect it to be when ordering, it runs incredibly small. ... The 30G was so bad I didn't take pictures, because they would have been XXX rated and unsuitable for anyone's eyes. Simply put, it was a nipple hat. I immediately returned it, and they had no other 30 band sizes available. Since the 30 band was tight anyways, after a little mental math I went with this - which, when I ordered it, I actually had to order "32I" from the drop down box. This is 2 full band sizes and 2 full cup sizes up from what I usually wear.
There are positives about this bikini top that I promise I will eventually write about, so my advice to you (if you want to try it) is to size up. And then size up again. Seriously - order a size that sounds so utterly ridiculous to you that it makes you giggle when you're lying in bed at night thinking about it.
Firstly, the measurements. This "32" band stretches to 28.75. Cup width is 6.1, cup depth is 9.0. Anyone who pays attention to me knows that 6.1 is a full inch wider than what I actually need, and 9.0 is most definitely not the typical depth of a 32G anything. This actually doesn't fit me in any remotely technical definition of the word, but it's still good enough, plus I can't return it anymore for reasons I'll mention in a bit.
The fit: Because it is so wide and the cups are relatively tall, once you find a size that appropriately covers your tatas for public display in a location other than a nude beach, it gives somewhat of a minimizing effect. Personally, that is fine with me, because I don't want to take my titties for a walk on the beach. I'd rather they be flattened/contained so I can chase after my kid, instead of in-your-and-everyone-else's-face. To each their own, though, so if you don't want a minimizing bikini top - move along, this isn't the style you're looking for.
This little top is offered in a variety of solid colors and apparently a print, that I saw nowhere on the website. I picked white, because white goes with everything including my tan, and I can get whatever cheap bottoms I find on sale at Target and be good. The website says this style is lightly padded - it's not. It's constructed of a solid swim-fabric outer layer with a mesh inner layer. This would be okay in black or any other color, but the the downside to this "white" is that it's more transparent than actually white. Seriously ladies, I could SEE the COLOR of my NIPPLES through this thing when it was DRY. I didn't want to chance getting it wet.... *hides* so I stole some nude colored removable liner pads from an old bikini top and stitched them into the lining of this top. Get this - you can see the nude colored pads through the top!! But at this point, since I've messed with it so much it's not returnable anymore, I don't care and I'd rather some stranger be staring at my liner pads than at my nipples. Good thing it was only $17.
Do note - despite it being unlined, it is supportive and structured enough that you shouldn't need any kind of padding or additional lining to improve the actual shape the top gives.
The positives - it is supportive, the wires are long and tall on the sides instead of those crappy little 5" flat "underwires" in VS underwired bikini tops, and there is side boning. Side boning, in a $17 bikini top! Everybody dance! The side wings are tall to hold all of your side boob in (and possibly poke the armpits of short ladies everywhere), and despite being minimizing, there is a bit of cleavage. The top does have the effect of pushing your girls to the center. The gore is low so it's not stabby, and my favorite part about this whole mess of a swim top is that the wires are hidden, so it doesn't scream "I'm a bra made of swimsuit material." I have this thing about bra swim tops - if I wanted to wear a bra to the beach, I'd wear my damn bra to the beach. I picked this style specifically because online it did not look like a bra, and in reality, it really doesn't. The super low gore means I could tie a little bow around it to change up the look a bit, which I'll probably do because I have these polka-dot hipster bottoms with removable faux side ties that are just sitting in my closet taking up space and at least now they'll have a purpose.
Summary - simple and cute, supportive, would be great for wide and shallow ladies, size way-the-hell-up, and don't order white.
That's crazy with the sizing up! I've never had that problem with them, but I've mostly ordered one pieces. Their sizes in general are really small though. I order from them in a size 2 F-G cup when I buy my swimsuits. They are low cost and quite supportive though. I'm definitely guilty of keeping VS bikini tops around even though they're about as supportive as mermaid shells.
This review made me snort-laugh, and now I have to clean coffee off my iPad. Well done! :)
I swear they make their bands with the old +4 method in mind! Ive had a similar experience where i could not even come CLOSE to getting a 30 hooked when i measure 27"! I mean i could have almost used like double the band amount that was there!
Oh that's crazy! I could hook the 30. In fact I prefer the 30, but the 32 is ok. I mean, I couldn't get a cup size big enough in a 30 band... they only go up to "I" and I don't think that would have been enough.
Haha woops just reread it! I thought you said the 30 was too tight in the band :)
It was snug. I could get it on though, and with swim tops especially, the tighter the better.
That sounds like a mess! I'm sorry they didn't work out for you :(
I was prompted with a "switch to US version" or something for their site on mobile. It said "you'll see localized stories, currency, and sizing". Idk if that's supposed to mean US sizing? I think they should just stick to UK completely. I feel like most people who buy outside of the bra matrix use UK sizing anyway.
Makes me wonder if things can get mixed up when they see someone ordering from the US(regardless of if they've switched to US version?).
But yeah, this makes me super anxious to ever buy from their site for sure :( Guess I lucked out with eBay.
That could totally make sense, if when I went to the US size they converted the sizes to be "helpful." But some tops that weren't ASOS brand said US 30G or whatever size in the drop down box. ASOS tops didn't have the US before the size so I just assumed it was UK like they said it was! Oh well, at least returning the one was super easy and free.
I saw that and was thinking that while it sounds helpful, I could totally see it causing problems if it does what I thought it might do!
That's a relief that the return was easy though :)
This was my 2nd order from Asos, so I knew by then to size up. If they'd had it, I would have ordered a 30I (UK 30G) since I know they run small, but 30H (UK 30FF) was the biggest available so I gave it a shot.
Ya know, it's not so bad. This is my favorite of the 3 Asos Swim tops I've tried. It's a little small on me, but the bigger problem is how shallow it is. It's a molded cup, so I expected that, and since my standards for a wearable swim top have sunk so low by this point, I really ...can't complain. But the wires aren't in my IMF, they kind of hover just below it.
If I don't fully s&s, it looks about perfect, but I notice the fit issues - the gore doesn't tack, the band is too big. If I do s&s, the wires comes closer to my IMF and while I don't fall out, there's more noticeable boob-age going on and the gore floats even worse. The greatest thing about this top is the wide halter ties that run up the sides of the cup. They contain the side-boob I have as a result of this being about half a cup too small. I did take a picture while I was scooped n swooped and noted that on the pic.
I love the vintage 50's style, the kind of pin-up model feel it has. I love the color combo. I can tighten the band. If it were a bra, it would be returned immediately. But it's not, so it'll serve its purpose. Read more 173 more words
I think this looks great on you! Kind of wanting to buy one of these myself now xD I really like all the retro tops coming out lately.
Queequeg0925 Thanks! It's a clearance item and going fast so if you want one, here's the direct link on the us.asos site. Keep in mind it's US sizing lol, there's still 30DDD/F (UK 30E I assume?) and 30G (UK 30F) left. Not sure which would work better for you, I do feel the one I have is somewhat small for a 30FF, but I can see this being really cute on you! http://us.asos.com/pgeproduct.aspx?iid=4622798&CTAref=Saved+Items+Page
lcl0706 ah, thanks so much! :) I think 30DDD should work. Hopefully. Lol :)
Ooh if you get it report back!
I definitely will! :) Thinking I may have to wait until next week. Fingera crossed it's still available!
That's so cute on you! :) I've been trying to resist buying new swimwear all summer.
Oh, I like that! I made do with a J.Crew Bandeau XS D-cup top at the water park last weekend. It did it's job, but I'd like a bra sized supportive swim top. I mostly lay out, so less is more. But sometimes I want to play in the sprinklers too and I'd rather not pop out.
I wasn't done tablet! Anyway. I think that's a pretty good fit on you. Do you feel secure when you move about?
For the most part. I wouldn't trust it to do jumping jacks or anything, but I'm less picky with bikini tops than bras for sure. I can bend over, roll over, etc. It's definitely too shallow, definitely doesn't tack, I mean if you look close you can see how the gore and bottoms of the wires are not where they belong lol. But it's more supportive and a closer fit than I thought it would be. I mean, I've literally never had a top I don't have to re-adjust after any amount of movement. I have accidentally flashed people because a strong wave hit me. I've fallen out of the center of my tops while bending over. So, this is a huge upgrade for me.
The most comfortable and supportive bikini from my G cup Asos haul. Unfortunately I just can't stand the giant leaf green/black/white print in person - it's too loud for me.
This isn't the only longline style from Asos that's available in a G cup but it's definately the longest down the rib cage. In the 32G it's almost 2 inches long underneath each boob. Lays flat perfectly.
The 32 band is a lovely firm fit. It's very secure on the body. The band at the back is quite thick and the bikini clasp is chunky as a result. I hope they refine this in future iterations because it's one ...of the only complaints against this bikini.
The shoulder straps are quite thick. Very comfortable. I wish they were a little narrower just so it feels a bit more like a bikini. I didn't feel that I needed the support from the straps.
The cups feel like a true G cup. I'd say this, of all the Asos bikinis, felt the most like a 32G bra in terms of fit.
I bought the bottoms to match in a size UK 10 and I must say they are really very big! Size down 1 size in the bottoms in my opinion!
If they redo this bikini next summer in a better, beachy print, I will most definitely buy it. If it was available in black, or in any good solid colour (like an emerald, or royal blue) I'd buy it.
This leaf print? I'm returning. Read more 139 more words
This is my first bra-sized bikini top, and I can't imagine going back! It looks so much better than those stupid triangle tops, and it held up well at the beach all day. My breasts were secure, so no more accidentally flashing people. I felt much more comfortable. One thing that I don't believe was mentioned on the site is that this top isn't padded. My nipples were under the seams though, so that wasn't an issue.
Also, I normally wear a 28 band, but I ordered a 30 since ASOS doesn't make them. It worked fine for me.
Took a bit of a gamble with the size here. I'm 'normally' a 30G, but sister sized to a 34F.
The cups are too small. They're not too bad for swimwear, but I wouldn't wear this for any kind of beach sports. It comes with a detachable, thin halter strap. I wouldn't wear it without the strap as it isn't very supportive for me. There is a silicone strip along the inside top edge of the cup.
The longline band is a little odd. It extends a little under the cups at the front, but narrows down at the back to become a normal bikini clasp. I'm undecided if ...I like this or not. It is a firm band, I was expecting it to be way too big, but it's wearable. I may end up taking it in if it stretches out over wear, but until then it's fine. I find swimwear can be looser than normal bras anyway.
So a longline is a nice change for fuller bust swimwear, but not sure this works so well on a full bust. Read more 73 more words
This swimsuit is adorable! I love the plunge, the color, everything. The shape it gives me is natural and rounded, with some uplift. There is only one hook - if the band doesn't fit, it doesn't fit. Fortunately, it fitted me. The straps are ties, and they converge together in the back as 4 strings. If tied wrong, they can be a little bulky or make the top of the cups of the bikini lie funny, but tying them in a knot first to get the positioning, then a bow for looks, seems to have worked for me. I have rather narrow breasts so the underwires aren't perfectly ...shaped for me, but they're narrow enough to be less of an issue than I thought they might be. I typically wear a 5" or 4.5" underwire. I am neither FOT nor FOB, but have a more even distribution to my breasts. I filled out the bottom and the top of the cups, but given that this bikini is a halter, I think it would work for someone with more shallow breasts than me, too. I've worn it once now, and it kept me safe and secure and cute the whole time, despite dives and jumps.
Oh! I forgot to mention. The label, located in the wing of the bra and pointed downward, itched like mad so I ripped it out.
EDIT: After a little wear, one of the underwires ripped out for me https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" /> I need to sew it back in. Read more 146 more words
This is not a longline, which I knew purchasing it but I still think it's weird that it's called that.
Anyway.
This is by far the best bathing suit top I've ever owned. It fits perfectly. The cups are similar in padding and style to the Deco Charm, but a bit lower cut and therefore provide better cleavage, and don't have that irritating empty space up top like some Decos. Even in my Vibe and Charm, I have a small bit of empty space. If you're super FoT, you may want to consider sizing up in this. FoB with tall roots, or even should work really well in these cups.
The back is ...a plastic snap close. Idk the actual term for it. The back band, in this size, does not look like the stock photo. It's a lot thinner, which, I'm fine with.
I bought this off eBay, so I knew what I was getting and I'm absolutely super happy with it, I'm just including that in case this is available anywhere else and a stock photo is all that's available.
The cups in this are very centered, with close (just touching and then splayed) center wires. The wire width, I will measure later, but I'm guessing somewhere around 4.8-5". Perfect for me.
The cup depth is just enough. Any less and I'd be quadding; any more and I would feel a little unsure about wearing this as a bathing suit.
Speaking of which, I wish this was a bra. Can someone just copy the design and make it without all the swim material, pleeeaase? It's great. The design, padding, and structure is like a hybrid Deco and Comexim Basic. Deco roundness and padding, Comexim wires and cup structure. Perfect for swim.
I'd recommend this for anyone who needs narrow wires and somewhat projected cups. It works with my roots because it's similar to a demi. The halter aspect and demi design combined make this so it gives nice cleavage. Not bombshell sexy, pushup, bedroom cleavage, but just enough for a swim top.
The band is firm and I'd say TTS. I did buy this used, so I can't validate whether or not it comes that way out of packing.
Having tried this and realizing how similar it is to the Deco, I'm kind of really wishing Freya would make a half cup Deco(without it being wide!). That would actually work for me. xD
Coloring and pattern is nice. Not my favorite, but I don't dislike it. I think I'm kinda more into greens, purples and pinks this year. And blues, always. So those colors are in this, but the orange and black are what stand out to me.
Super happy to have found this. No more crazy VS bikinis for me.https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" /> The last one I had was over $50 and the colors faded- in a salt pool. And the cups are always too far apart and sit on my boobs in the middle. I wish I could take their fabrics(at least the ones I have that didn't fade)and put them on a bikini like this. In the meantime, this suits me so much better so whatever about my picky fabric tastes. xD
If there's anything I could really do without, it's the short, bulky center bow. It's too short to tie in any way that doesn't look like a bow-tie, and it covers all the awesomeness going on in front because of the bulk. I guess maybe that was intentional, but I just find it annoying.
Other than that, I'd give this abkut 9/10. Read more 478 more words
I need a top like this in my life. Wonder if it comes in other colors, and if you could take the bow off? Like if it's just stitched on by a few stitches, should be easy to remove.
I love Asos swimwear! I have a great one piece from them that fits me better than anything I've found in the US market! I obsessively watch their sales. A lot of their stuff is more retro styled, but the turnover is fast enough that you can generally find something you like if you wait long enough.
lcl0706 It's great! I actually think the bow is only attached by a few stitches, from what I can see.
I think Ebay had a few too, but shipping was crazy expensive in all the ones in 30E. :(
PetiteCollegiate I wish I'd heard of them sooner :) I actually really love the 50's style halters and such. I think I'm sticking to them for my swimwear for a long time :)
And it comes in 28G! I'm pretty well convinced that all underwire bikinis will be too wide for me but man my crappy VS ones aren't cutting it. Anything is an improvement.
Oh snap I just realized that's US sizing. So I'd need a 28I or 30H
lcl0706 Wow, I hadn't realized how amazing their size range is! That one is really pretty :)
That's what I love about the one I just got; the wires are actually narrow. Never seen that on swimwear xD It'd be interesting to know whether narrow wires are standard for them?
And yeah. I love VS designs, but I don't think I will ever buy their swimwear ever again. Both my tops flop down, cups are too far apart, color faded on the more expensive one(that was already not the same color as in photos), and their bottoms either look like thongs or don't sit flat and I can see down them o__o They're pretty, but they don't suit many bodies/comfort levels that well. :(
I'm picking out a white hidden underwire halter top made by ASOS who claims to use UK sizing, so I'm gonna give it a go in a 30G and let you know the fit and wires. I'm unsure they actually use UK sizing because the size options go from 30DDD/F to 30G. Really, there should be an FF in there if they're truly UK sizing... and no 28 band offered but I don't mind tightening it if I have to. 30G is as close to my size as I can find. But it's only $17 and returnable lol. I love that first one I posted but not the $57 price tag.
I'm still schlepping around in my 32DD VS swim tops (hides)... and holding my boobs in every time I walk or turn around.
Queequeg did you see this one?? Available in a 30E
lcl0706 yay! Thanks so much :) Hopefully it works out for you!! Yeah, those 32DD's are just a big facepalm. I wish they'd start making their tops better :(
And oh geez, that one looks super nice! Thank you!:D
Yeah those 32DDs... mine have underwires and not extra padding but still. I'm a 28G shoving my boobies into a 32DD. Just... no. The wires are a poor excuse too, really short, wide, and kinda flat. Like not much curve to them.
Oh and their bottoms. Ugh. They keep getting smaller through the years. I used to be a small. Then a medium. This past year I tried one on and I needed a large and it still didn't cover half my butt.
lcl0706 Yeah, I'm not a fan of their wires either. I really wish they had more selection, but Comexim seems to have won my heart over anyway xD I had all these VS bras on my wishlist, but now when I see them I just think,"Nope. Gotta save for more Comexim."
Yep! Bottoms are just..idk what's going on with them. I tried on a few of their bathing suit bottoms in recently and every other pair besides this one hipster pair looks like a thong or those new cheeky-thong hybrids. Even if I had a slimmer body, I think I'd feel too much like I was wearing undies.
I sent my bf a picture of one that I wasn't sure about and he was just like "uhh maybe if only I can see it." And then I looked again, and yep, too much butt that nobody needs to see xD
Oh, and for me going up a size fixed the lack of coverage, but now I'm left with two bottoms that gape at the top. I didn't even know that was a thing. :(
Yes, all my dollars are going to Comexim these days lol
Ughh... I was so hopeful when I bought this bikini top that I would finally have one that fits... Unfortunately, it absolutely doesn't. I was warned by lcl0706 that it ran small, but I assumed that going up a cup size to 30F UK would solve that issue. I don't mind a bit of cleavage with my swimsuits after all. Unfortunately, this arrived with a 7.2" cup depth. That is ludicrous for a 30F. It would be ludicrous for a 30E. WTF ASOS. What is with your sizing? The band runs tight, and I would consider it a TTS 28 band (stretching exactly to 28 inches). ...Seriously, look at these pictures and cry at my pain. This top is also a shape mismatch for me as it's wide/average set and quite shallow. Overall just a major miss. The top also just feels fairly cheap. I hate to say that, but the quality is around Walmart level. I did get it for $15 though so I guess I can't complain too much. Sigh... I shall never have a good bikini. Cry with me ladies :,( Read more 80 more words
I ended up buying a 34 DD/E from asos when I'm typically 30F. It did turn out the band was too big once I got it wet but it was the size that fit the best dry. Different bikini top though
If you can handle it being so damn wide a 30FF may cover better, as crazy as it sounds. I ended up buying a 32G which sounded freakin insane but it covers the tatas. I also bent the wires somewhat narrower.
This is an "okay" fit, but I have to tighten the halter a LOT (so much so that it hurts my neck) if it's going to life the girls at all. I don't really recommend this to others. As I don't swim often, this does the job, but I'm definitely not going to put it on otherwise.
The top may look great in the pictures, but my breast are bulging out from all sides. Also it makes them look flat. This is not made for big natural breasts. I will need to return it and get a bikini top with underwires. Besides that, the top is comfortable but I could go a size smaller in the band. I do like my bands very tight with swimwear.
I'm currently on somewhat of a mission to find usable swim tops after spending a life time in crappy ones. It's my side project when I'm not busy overanalyzing what size and alterations I want to attempt on my next go-round with Comexim.
This was the other top in my original order of two "30G" bikini tops from Asos. If you read my 32G - Asos Swim ยป Hidden Underwired Print Fuller Bust Bikini To review, you'll know already how much of a disaster the white one was. This one is not *quite* so bad. This particular mix n match style runs looser ...in the band than the hidden underwire, and bigger in the cups. However, it's still a big fat LIE that Asos Swim uses UK sizing, because I ordered this as a 30G from the size menu and received a US 30G/UK30F. So, keep that in mind.
30F is a cup smaller in volume than I can usually wear. This top is workable if I don't scoop & swoop. The band is TTS, which means it's too big on me, so I cut strips of elastic and sewed them to the inside of the band to act as a tightener. I would say the cups, at 5.3" wide and 9.0" deep, are TTS for a typical 30F - the problem being, I am not a 30F, I'm an FF-G. So, if you're a true 30F and were to get hold of this top, it would probably fit you quite well.
The double tie halter strap is simultaneously cute, and a giant pain in the ass to tie behind your neck. The insides of the cups have a side sling mesh, which is a great idea in theory, but in reality, if the mesh doesn't cover your nipple, you'll end up with a weird pointy shaped bulge. Of couse it doesn't cover my nipple, so if I were to wear this much I'd want to sew in some liner pads, but the cups are barely big enough to begin with, without pads.
The color is much more vibrant than the website suggested, which I liked. It's a bright teal blue with a crochet lace overlay and visually it's just very cute!
I kept it, and have swam in it twice, but the jury is out on whether I'll actually keep it long term. Read more 296 more words
ASOS will often ask to transfer you to the US site whenever they detect you are in the US, and there you will see only US sizes. If you stay on the UK site it should give UK sizes. I always make sure based on whether I see the letter "I" anywhere!
Yeah I think I heard that after I reviewed the white one & I'd bought this one at the same time. That's so unhelpful of Asos lol. What's even more annoying is even on the U.S. site, there are still some brands of tops listed specifically as U.S. sizing like "US 30G" in the menu & Asos isn't one of them. So they change the sizing without really telling you they're doing it. I shoulda known when I saw the I but wasn't really paying attention to letters other than G in my first order.
Runs tight in the band and small/shallow in the cups. I went up 1 sister size in the band (30E -> 32DD) and 1 more cup size (-> 32E). 32F worked for me as well. The bikini top has wires but no lining, padding and is not too high-cut/covering.
I already went swimming in this bikini top and I like it - it looks nice and keeps everything in place. It dries pretty quickly, which is nice too. However, I would not recommend this type of bikini if you have boobs with much projection, since the cups do not provide much depth.
I've learned through trial and error with ASOS - they do not use UK sizing like they claim. I ordered a mix n match halter top in 30G that came tagged as "US 30G, UK 30F." It doesn't run quite so small though, and runs big in the band, so it's workable for me.
I also ordered this particular hidden underwire style in a 30G that was tagged the same way, as a UK 30F, and it was a TINY 30F with a very tight band. More like a 28E - it was a nipple hat. So not only are their sizes misleading, they also run small.
I don't think this is a bad bikini top, you just have to order it fully aware of how it's sized. I returned my "30G" and ordered a 32I. Up one in the band, and up 2 in the cups from my first order. Theoretically, it should be a UK 32G, which is 2 bands and 2 cup sizes bigger than my 28G bra size. But based on how small my first one ran, it should be closer to fitting. If not, I'm SOL because that's as big as they come and I won't go bigger than a 32 band. It gets here tomorrow, so I will update then.
An unpadded plunge shape neckholder bikini with underwires and side boning. It pushes the bust to the front (and tend to pop out in the middle if the cups are too small) Runs 1 band size smaller than indicated, and 1-2 cup sizes smaller in the cups.
It's a classical plunge shape neckholder bikini. The cups are not padded, but thinly lined. It comes with underwires and side boning. The band runs very tight, about 1 band size smaller than indicated, and the cups are very small (approx. 2 cup sizes). The top does a great job at pushing the boobs to the front, but since the cups are so small, they tend to pop out in the middle.
32DD (sister size to my regular 30E) was okay in the band, but too smal in the cups.
I tried several sizes of this bikini top. My regular size of 30E was both too tight in the band and too small in the cups. I recommend going up 1 sister size in the band, and also up 1-2 cup sizes.
Another classical triangle shape neckholder bikini. The band is nice and firm (true to size for a 30). The cups are true to size. They are molded, the padding is a few mm thick (not see-through and does conceal the nipples). They even do some shaping to the middle.
Band is too big, cups are too small. Aside from those obvious fit issues, this particular version of the Asos Mix and Match halter has really thin liner fabric since the outer is a lace crochet. There a piece of firmer support liner in there too. Where the support liner ends your breast tissue pops out into the really stretchy nude liner, make for a very odd shape. Otherwise it would be super cute. Hopefully they will make this again with a better liner.
