I love this bra. I mean, seriously.
Flowers?
In pastels on a white brushed/matte satin?
In a vertical seamed, padded half cup?
I saw Ava's Estela Meadow on a Polish lingerie blog a long time ago, but dismissed it as an "oh my, I wish..."
Back then my breasts were still hard after implantation and padded styles were my arch enemies. I couldn't even fit an Ewa CHP properly, so I was reticent to start trying other companies.
But, now I am softer and more styles are fitting me. I have had great success with EM's padded styles as well as Kinga's semi-padded bras.
I am also getting ... very good at judging whether something will fit based on measurements and photos of other bloggers wearing them.
This bra is a style from Ava's 2017 Spring/Summer season so it's no longer available direct from the company.
I didn't even bother to ask MagdaBras4you to look for it.
I figured it was long gone and over with.
But...imagine my delight when it showed up on Brastop...on sale...in my size...with matching bikini panties. Youpeeeee!!
I think it took me 10 seconds to add it to my cart and check out lol
Today it arrived (took 2 weeks) and it is exactly what I hoped it would be.
The cups are 3 part, 2 vertical seamed padded half /padded balconette.
It's technically a padded bra, but the padding is very light foam. Inside is soft, brushed cotton-y material.
The cups have ample projection at the wire for me, and, they close slightly at the top, where they're trimmed in pink knitwear. It's a perfect cut for me. I have round breasts, so if a cup isn't closed at the top, it sticks out.
The satin is soft, smooth and the print of camelia pink apple blossoms is beautifully done on it. Touches of coral, greens and aqua blues make for a nice spring/summer combo. It's very, very nice quality too.
The straps on this bra are very different...they're wide and half-way they're made of the satin. At the back, they're a standard white picot-trimmed strap. They're lovely and very comfortable but note: they're not fully adjustable and, this is a balconette style, so they're wider set. But, that being said, they're no wider set than on my EM CHP. I love these straps. But my shoulders are neither sloped nor narrow. If this is your situation, or you need super short straps, these straps may not be for you.
Band is soft, smooth and firm but very comfortable. It is made of the printed satin with power mesh lining. 2 hooks. 3 sets of them. I'd consider it TTS as I'm comfy on the loosest hook. My underbust, btw, is 71 cm.
The elastic that trims the band, straps and sides of the cups is white with picot trim that peeps out. It's a feminine, dainty effect.
Ok. The best part about this bra for me :
The GORE!! This gore is WIDE!!!
At 2.3cm wide at the top, and 8cm at the very bottom, this is the widest gore I have tried yet in a Polish bra (where the wires still fit me. Almost. Sort of. Its a 95% grade on the wires. I have about 1cm on the outside. This is very acceptable to me.)
I like this. I have narrow breasts (I love 13.5cm wide wires) but they're more than 2 fingers apart, so I like a wider gore and never get it.
Not only is this gore wider, but it's got great projection at the wire here. Super. I get a solid tack.
Read me? I get a solid tack in a padded half cup that is not an EM bra. π
In fact, I prefer this bra to my EM CHP because: wider gore, less padding, closed top on the cup. I like it better than my Comexim 3HC because well, I can't get a tack in that thing to save my soul. It lacks projection at the wire.
BTW, unlike my EM and Comexim, this bra cost me less than $30 π
The panties are super cute too. They're bikinis but with lace on the bum cheeks so they're sassy and comfy.
Check out my pics. You'll understand my glee.
