I'm in between 60E and 60F on the Avocado size chart. Their advice is to pick the larger one if you're between sizes, but the 60E was a better fit for me. Maybe because I'm FOB? The 60F cups were too deep and tall. Tbh I might have gone with a 60D if they made that size, since this is still a bit taller in the cups than I need (the depth is fine though). If they reduced cups like Comexim it would be great.
The band is comfortable, snug for a 28. I can wear it on the last hook without it affecting the fit of the ...cups, but rides up a little on me (26FF). I definitely prefer a tighter band, but it'll do.
Prices are higher on the English site due to VAT btw, which I didn't realize.
Edit: saw in one of the product descriptions to size down if you're in between for the HCT/HCQ styles. The NF runs smaller, but they suggested I stay with 60E for that style so I'll try that sometime.
Update: The NF does not suit my shape at all. Maybe it's for someone more FOT? It fit like a Panache Jasmine I tried a couple months ago, where the cups were maybe the right depth but empty/gaping on top. Read more 108 more words
Oh dear. I cant believe that 60E can fit me that well! Ive never tried Avocado before and was sure that this bra will be too tight and too small in the cups but nothing like that! (almost nothing) Firs of all it looks really gently but bit sexy too. The straps are soooooo stretchy! never had bra with that stretchy straps but theyre so soft and dont dig in! theyre very light. Also the strap placement is quite good on me. The cups, theyre very forgiving - even if theres ribbon they cause very tiny quadboob that is almost not noticeable. The wires are the 2nd issue after stretchy straps. They're very narrow, bit too narrow for me, probably 60F/65E would work better but theyre very soft and cant feel them when the bra is on Bra was used, so the band is stretched now, but fit my 72cm underbust perfectly
I am so pleased with this bra. But I wish to get it in bigger size! I really love the simple look of it!
I love this. Avocado cups are slightly too tall for me, so I usually have some strap gap and wrinkling on the top section. But all the extra straps create enough tension that this fits perfectly, even on my smaller side.
I got the matching XS full briefs, which are high rise (but not quite high waisted) with a comfy/relaxed fit. They're stretchier than Comexim XS/EM 34/Katherine Hamilton 6.
I want to try this brand! I have a bra that is sort of similar with the strap situation and the extra straps make up for the cups height being not right in certain areas and preventing gaps in others. Thanks for sharing.
meganelaineshaw1 I love Avocado! The Queen Misia is another one of my favorites because of the straps, but the regular HCN/HCQs are great too. Sometimes they have promotions on IG fyi.
This bra did not fit me at all. The cups were far too large for me. I think I would need a 60D or even C. A shame, because it is lovely. I wish I could wear it.
I have also been eyeballing Avocado. According to my measurements I am inbetween 60D & 60E..... I'm sitting here asking myself if I have been sized out of Avocado...they have 60D on their size chart but not available for sale...we're you able to return it? Do you think one of their other styles may fit better, like their half cup sizes? Our measurements are quite similar...but I am having a hard time accepting my perimeter is 7.5"- 8" (larger side, 7"-7.5" smaller side) and stray away from anything larger than a 6" depth.... I hope after receiving a couple 28D's at or over 6" depth will convince me I need to go larger!
LeProfessor I ended up not being able to return it because it was technically a "custom order" so exchange only. I think I'll probably list it for sale. It was really quite large on me, I don't think any style in the same size would fit. I'm sad about it because it's so pretty! :(
actually I got that wrong, it wasn't a custom order but they told me exchange only because it was past their return window (due to shipping time from Poland + me being lazy haha)
I really like this bra. I messaged Avocado about their different cuts and they said the HCN and HCQ styles are similar, but the HCN has slightly deeper cups. However, this seems about the same depth as my Misia HCQ but it fits me better. Maybe because the cups are slightly shorter? Or because of the extra straps creating tension?
This would be really perfect if the front horizontal strap wasn't adjustable because the visible hardware is distracting.
This band was a lot stretchier than my two Misia styles. NF doesn't seem to suit me since it's too closed or needs a more even/FOT shape? Not really sure. Sticking with the HCN cut, might try the HC in the future.
