This bra will probably suit average projected (not immediately projected) FoT / large root to even, narrow root width the best
Pros: the design is so so pretty the half cup will accomodate to tall and short roots NO BORING BOWS AT THE GORE the band is tight: my snug UB is 26 and this 60 band fits just fine on the loosest hook
Con: no immediate projection at the wire, when I say no I mean no: it goes like this / maybe its just my sensitive skin but the lace is pretty scratchy wires are narrow but personally not narrow enough
Bottom line I think its a great bra (and so so pretty!!) - just not for my shape. Im keeping it for the design.
Long story short: size down if you are FoB, works better for FoT shapes. The design is beautiful. If you have sensitive skin the lace is pretty scratchy. There isnt a lot of immediate projection. It gives a marie antoinette cleavage. I am really in love with the design of queen misia but I am worried I will have the same issues.
This bra is very well-made, with rich materials and careful construction. There is plastic boning on the vertical seam of the wings! That's not something I have seen in my size before, and I wish it were in every bra to help the band from rolling or cutting in. The black band across the tops of the cups is elastic velvet, and the fronts of the straps are inelastic velvet. The straps can be adjusted on the back side only. The cups are made of black lace with a vertical seam. There is a bow at the gore with tassels at the ends of the ribbons. The whole ...bra, including the band, seems supple, soft, and high quality. This EU 60F unlined bra for the Avocado brand is approximately the same size as a UK 28F. Very tight band at first (just under 28" stretched). Very narrow wires (4.9") and projected cups that want a certain shape. The wires seem pretty bendy, however. The velvet band across the top is elastic, but it slightly squished my breasts down and cut in a little. The apex of the cups was close to the top band (makes sense, as the model K bras are Avocado's lowest, most revealing balconettes)--and it had too much projection right here for me. My boobs are rounder and between even and full-on-bottom. Therefore, I believe this bra would suit breasts that are more full-on-bottom and more "ski-sloped" shaped than mine. I only had it on for thirty seconds (could tell it wasn't suitable for my shape immediately), so I cannot comment on comfort over time. Shipping from Poland was fast--took seven days total. Hope my review and the photos helped you! Read more 177 more words
I'm narrow, projected, full on bottom and with tall, sloping roots. Also center full and close set.
The cups aren't too separate for me, which is rare for me. The cups are a little bit wide, but that they're not too separate helps keep them from being too far into my armpits/outside of the breast tissue.
The shape it gives isn't too pointy, which is often the case due to my lack of upper fullness.
The straps/edges don't cut in, though the strap separation is on the wider side.
It doesn't feel as supportive as some of my other bras (gorsenia simena, fantasie elsie), but it isn't too bad.
When I first got this bra, it was way too big for me, but now that my measurements have increased a bit, I really like it. It seems to want a little more upper fullness or root height than I have (the same gaping-at-the-strap problem that I always have with plunges), or perhaps it's just still slightly too large, but it's comfortable enough nonetheless. The only thing that bothers me at all about it is the fact that I have to tighten the straps more than I probably should, and they dig in a little. The straps are pretty thin; if they were wider maybe this wouldn't happen as much.
Edit: I'm now measuring 30F/FF and this bra fits perfectly. It definitely runs large for a 28:6, or maybe it's just stretched out.
Super supportive! My chest isn't going anywhere in this thing. The shape isn't quite right, though - the top is tight and constricting (not in an uncomfortable way, but it makes for kind of a weird shape), and it's more pointy than I prefer.
Wire length is excellent - nowhere near my armpits at all.
It's hard to tell, but I think this is supposed to be a plunge cut. It has that gaping-near-the-straps issue that I'm very familiar with in plunges.
I love the lace and the velvety accents - very pretty.
This bra is *beautiful*. I love the sheen on it and the lace detailing. The material is stretchy in comparison to other bras. I was a bit worried as I haven't tried a 28 band before but I must say it is nice. It's definitely tighter than the 30 band, but still tolerable (as sometimes I feel like the 30 might be too big). I enjoy the thicker straps and band. I fill out the cup well after swoop and scoop. It's comfortable and feels nice on the skin. In general, a good bra to have. I'm excited to wear it more!
The bra itself is gorgeous and definitely high quality. The velvet lining the top of the cup and outside of the straps is very pretty! This is one of the few bras that has strap close-set enough to not dig in to my tail of spence. The apex projection is great (to the point of being cone-shaped). There is not a ton of immediate projection at the bottom of the cup, which led to wrinkling in my case. The straps do not adjust tight enough for me, as only part of the straps is actually adjustable and I have a tiny frame. The top of the cup is very ...closed off. I am extremely full on bottom, and I think if the straps adjusted short enough the top would cut in for me. Usually I have issues with gaping, so this was a new one. The underwires are a tad wide for me, but they were more narrow than something like a Freya fancies padded half cup. The gore digs in terribly on me! The gore is narrow and not super high, so I think this is probably due to the other shape issues. Read more 85 more words
Sadly this bra is just too big for me. I held on to it hoping it would eventually got but I don't think I'm getting any bigger. I believe it fits like a tight 28F.
This is a silky soft sexy bra that doesn't work with my tall root even shape. Some one with short roots and FoB would love this bra! Plus it's very tight, more like a 26:7 so it would be even better for someone who needs a 26 band size!
I am the 3rd owner of this bra which seemed to be a tough fit. At first this bra did not work for me either. It fit well on the bottom, but I did not fill out the top section (that over the original center horizontal seam - I do not have a picture of the unaltered bra). I was going to relist it. Instead I decided to try to alter it since it fit very well on the bottom two thirds. I took up enough fabric to pull under the velvet horizontal border and stitched this in by hand. ...The unaltered bra had an additional 2 cm of vertical length of lace fabric extended under the velvet strip. Now that 2 cm is tucked under the velvet strip. It is now nearly a perfect fit. The only problem I am having is with the wires which are very stiff and bruising me a bit. I tried it on the second middle hook because it felt better tighter, but I am going back to the loose hook because of the bruising. Also, the center gore wires are a bit too high for me by about 1 cm. Despite all that, this bra is now a better fit than my Ewa Michalek 60F which is too wide in the wires. Read more 123 more words
This cup is constructed of a sheer-red lace with subtle little dots on it. I've tried it with a few thin t-shirts, and it doesn't seem to show through them. There is a large lace flower on the gore, and the straps are fully adjustable, which is great for people with long torsos or low-set breasts.
I think the cup design would be ideal for someone who has a good amount of immediate projection, narrow roots, and some upper fullness.
This bra is very pretty, but a bad shape for me. I *think* the volume of the cup would be okay if it were less closed off, but it's hard to tell. Would be better for someone more full on bottom than me. The band is also a size too small for me (usually a 30), which I knew, but I think it's fine with an extender.
So many great things about this bra, but it's just too big for me. The gore is really narrow, as are the wires. The fabric and the straps are all soft and pretty.
I love the narrow wires and the close setness of the bra. The idea of the design is lovely but it's just not good at all for my ladies. I found out about Euro sizes not doing all the double letter cups AFTER I purchased this, so it's about two cup sizes too small. The stretchy velvet band along the top just flattened them. Would better fit a FOB 28F, 28E maybe. I really wanted to like this bra but it's a definite fail for my shape.
