This bra seems to run large. The band is too loose, much looser than my other 34D models. Excess fabric is present in the cup. Cups are made of two layers that aren't lined up evenly, which creates odd bulges that are visible under clothing. These bulges are at their worst near the lace ornamentation at the front. It's not a bad looking bra aside from the shoddy sewing.
(Note: I bought this bra used from Goodwill) I liked this bra! I tested it on the second set of hooks because it was used, and it held up well. The size is too big for me, but it was still comfy to wear. The straps can feel a bit weird because they are different from normal straps, they have a strange shape and a groove in the middle of them. Other than that, great bra, and looks cute too! :^)
The Bali Comfort Revolution Front Close Underwire Bra (3P66) is easy and hassle-free to put on. However, despite being the right size, the cups are a bit on the larger side and also make my bust size look bigger than it is. Also, because it is front-closing, there isn't the option to adjust the hooks to a tighter fit when it gets loose. Overall, it's good if one wants to quickly put the bra on with no problems, but it definitely makes the bust look larger than reality. The support is pretty okay, not superior.
If there is a problem with the fit I do not mention, please let me know! I know this bra is too big on me, but it is soooo breathable, it's my backup for when I need to wash my Bali classic, which is a 32 C and fits me waaay better. It doesn't go too high up in the armpits which is great for me. I have wide roots, even though the cups are big it still stays in place, just because it's a good fit for me. Not enough coverage for center-full, close-set breasts (CFCS)....
Very comfortable, seamless under knits, fully adjustable and convertible straps. There is, however, a weird bulge in the bottom of the cup just above the band. The cup is knit into the band less smoothly than the cup in the 3488.
Bali 3488 presents no quadding and is a better fit for my CFCS breasts.
This bra is designed with padding that is thickest at the bottom of the cup and this layer gets thinner as it goes up. In theory this is intended to give a push-up effect without being too obvious, unfortunately it mainly just sacrifices the space available in the cup for the breast tissue. When I bought it from a no-returns and no-exchanges seller I hadn't figured out my correct size range yet, but I'm sure that this bra will fit someone perfectly - that someone just isn't me.
Better fit than the bali concealers back smoothing underwire I have in the same size, though I spend almost as much time tugging the band down and adjusting my boobs. Stretches out in the band fairly quick, after only a couple of months the two in this style in a rotation of 6 total bras are already on the tightest hooks and still riding up in the back with almost no strap length adjustment just to keep quad look minimal.
If I'd known my "right size" (which Bali doesn't make in this bra)....sigh...I love the style, but the size it is means I'm pulling the back down and adjusting the straps constantly and all day. And it's still not comfortable for me, but that might be due to the constant fighting with it trying to make it so. The center gore doesn't tack, but where the cup starts at the side is maybe the one thing that does work for me, since I'm wide root and equally full all over (not fob or fot but somewhere in between...?)
I tried this bra in 34D; a 34 band is generally bigger than I like but in this case it fits pretty well if worn on the first hook. I will probably shorten it for a better fit. The cups are very comfortable and don't show through light colored t-shirts. My main complaint about this bra is that the center gore comes up too high and irritates my sternum, making it less than ideal for long wearings.
