I bought this bra on Amazon.ca for around $35.00 cnd. It was the only one I could find for lower than $40.00. I have been searching for, and buying, inexpensive comfortable, wireless bras with long bands on purpose lately because of sensory issues with snug bands and scratchy materials.
I am pleasantly surprized how comfortable this one is. I love the integrated padding, the wide shoulders straps, and the comfortable material. It's like a stretchy cotton, so it will cause some tenting, but no biggie. Straps are only semi adjustable, but they are long enough for me. If you have a super short frame though, I'm not sure you ...could adjust these short enough. Band has 3 hooks, yay! But note that the hooks are close together and probably won't fit with most extenders.
Measurements are difficult as it has no wires. It doesn't really lift me at all, but it's structured and padded enough to give me some support and modesty.
Haven't worn it out yet, but I didn't feel any pinching or chaffing. The only caveat I can see is that the outter front cup material is not connected to the padding, so it may slide around.
Good quality, excellent comfort, okay appearance. Read more 96 more words
The Bali Double Support Wire-Free Bra (3820) is of a very soft, comfortable material and feels nice and comfortable when worn. It is also very supportive, despite not having annoying underwires. The fit is true to size, there is no looseness or tightness. The band is snug as should be, the cups are of adequate volume, and the coverage is excellent. There is great lift when wearing this bra, as well as comfort. It comes in many colours, and the size determines what colours are available in that size. A great bra to have, even for those with large busts. Looks pretty and with a satin finish as well.
Bra "fits" but shapes my breasts like a hamburger bun - flat on the bottom, rounded on top, and very wide. So not flattering.
About me: petite with wide horizontal oval, slightly conical breasts * average projection * wide-set (3 fingers width of space between breasts) * very wide roots (extend past the mid-axillary line) * short roots * even horizontal fullness (just barely outer full) * mix of firm & soft tissue (front molds to shape of bra, sides push wimpy wires away) * conical shape (but will squish to round) * full on top (2/4 shape, not even or very full) - BUT functionally even to FOB due to short roots and soft tissue * petite (5'3") so have narrow frame
I wore this before finding ABTF and Bratabase. This bra has unusually wide wires for the size. The material is very stretchy and comfortable but it doesn't provide a lot of support in my opinion. The cups are smooth and lightly padded but not moulded, so temperature changes will show! Inside the cup there is a support panel that runs from the armpit to the center gore. I don't think it did a whole lot for me. It's a well constructed bra but I don't think the materials hold up to extended wear and easily stretch out. I really liked the One Smooth U bras when I wore them, but this model wasn't my favorite. It felt a bit oversized, even boxy, as well as matronly to me despite the added lace to pretty it up. It has plenty of projection but not a lot of support in the way UK bras lift.
I wore this bra before finding ABTF and Bratabase and learning I was wearing the wrong size. It's a very soft, comfortable bra. However, the wires seem long and wide for the size. The band is super stretchy. The straps are stretchy as well, but not fully adjustable. It's very thinly padded, definitely not moulded, which means it's not the greatest t shirt bra (if you get cold, everyone knows it!). Inside the cup there are support panels near the wings. I'm not sure what they do because they didn't offer much support for me. The cup is projected. Overall, it's a light, comfortable bra that is very affordable, but doesn't offer great support because it's so stretchy.
This bra was incredibly comfortable in size 36D. However, the lift and centering provided by the 34DD exacerbates the center shallowness misfit I experience.
The band is soft, padded, 3x4 fasteners, and supportive. It doesn't budge on my 28" underbust. Celebrating here!! https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":-)" />
The straps don't stretch. Supportive!! I hope more manufacturers emulate these Bali straps. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":-)" />
The fabric and cup shape round and lift my projected breats. However, because the cup shape is shallow near the gore, my breast is quickly repositioned from the center into the soft boning, seam, and elastic on the side. This ...irritates my breast tissue instantly. I want to purchase a 34DDD, but it is not available.
The apex is located somewhat lower in the cup. This bodes well for shorter-rooted breasts. The cup is also closed. There is a bit of quadding along the top, but it is imperceptible under a shirt. Taller roots will likely experience significant quadding.
Under shirts, the shape is round, lifted, and minimized. The support is not as good as a sports bra, but I could easily dance and practice yoga. The support is surprising from a soft cup.
If you have less center full breasts than I, this is an incredibly comfortable option. Read more 110 more words
Short roots, projected, omega shaped, center full, close set, slightly narrow, even breasts....
A 34" band on a 28" ribcage, does not make a supportive sports bra. And, much of the breast weight was transferred to my shoulders. I have a headache now. The straps are admirably supportive, but I must find a smaller, tolerably snug band in another bra.
It is important to note the cups begin to distort at 29". These are best suited for more shallow breasts. And, I stretched the band to 32" before the cups became nearly unrecognizable. If you have projected breasts, this isn't for you. But, shallow breasts may appreciate this bra.
The straps are convertible, but I much prefer j-hooks to crossing straps in the back. The materials are both pleasant to view and soft. The cups are lined with a subtle polka dot pattern. Lovely.
I wish it had worked for me, but it doesn't fit well enough to keep.
No, it is too small for me. The gore gaps away from my sternum and the straps constantly slip off my narrow shoulders. Not comfortable to wear all day.
I like this bra. It is not in my correct size, but it's comfortable anyways. The straps look nice if they show a little, but the lacy detailing shows through tight shirts, and the tops of the cups are too high for many normal tops.
Ordered this online hoping for a sweet, white lace bra. This one just wasn't the one for me. It fit my cup size fine (surprisingly) but has super full-coverage. That along with the very wide 3-clasp band makes this very unattractive and matronly (to me). Also, the cups were set too far apart and I had to sew them together some or else they would make my breast seem too wide for my petite frame. The lace was scratchy. Not impressed.
You may want to try Body by Wacoal T-back 65124. Not technically a sports bra but can double well as one, AND it wicks away moisture.
