lol. I didn't advertise it, wendybien , and I don't intend to update it regularly. There are so many bra bloggers I sort of figure I'll just post something when I have something valid to add. Since I have the weird chest shape and try some crazy bras no one's ever heard of, that's bound to happen from time to time. :D
I don't write for a living if that's what you mean by professional, but writing is a hobby of mine that goes way back. I've been planning a novel forever and a day, but keep procrastinating! And once every 5 years I'm a poet. (and then I spend 5 years hating poets so much I don't write any poetry at all. lol)
In any case, yes, I will post blog entries occasionally, when I have something to add that I don't think has been covered by one of the big bra bloggers. I'm toying with the idea of doing an in depth post about the unusual tapered/projected chest shape I have, and how it causes fit problems that can be mistaken for other fit problems, but it would be such an involved post, and useful to such a small percentage of people, that I'm not sure it's worth throwing the energy into.
Well I enjoyed it and I hope you will feel inspired on a regular basis :-)

It entirely depends on when I have something of note to discuss that hasn't already been covered by someone else. :)
A non-wired longline bra sounds excellent, but this bra best suits splayed breasts with very outward-pointing nipples. I have to say that it really is quite supportive of projected breasts, but the pictures will show that the apex is more than an inch beyond where my nipple placement truly is, making for a very odd feeling as it attempts to shape around a point that is actually.... not there.
There is an interesting double centre panel with elastic pulling the opposite breast inward upon a curve, which I suppose is an attempt to balance the strain of pull throughout the rest of the longline band. You can see one of them stretched further to accommodate the larger of the two, in fact. A neat idea, and good for people who need a gentle inward, but not upward, pull.
The bra was too small for me - I should have sized up to an F cup, but due to the shape I think this is a return.

It almost fits! Cups are filled at the bottom but gaping at the top, it might just be my shape and mismatched chest, as one side is nearly filled. Gore is almost flush against my sternum. No issues with the straps or underwire.

Very soft and stretchy. Band too big.

I think I may have an older version of this bra (bought in 2015), in black with purple lining, and just the logo with the "b" in the middle instead of the full company name. The writing inside the bra has mostly rubbed off, but the model number seems to be BX4915.
It's a very sturdy, well-designed bra, and pretty good for low- to medium-impact exercise. I've used it for yoga and some gym work, but it's not quite secure enough for running. That may be less a fault of the bra, though, and rather due to the fact that my breasts increased by a size over the past five years, meaning that the cups are now a little bit too small. I still wear the bra relatively regularly, as the band fits well and the fit issue more cosmetic than related to comfort. Considering buying a high-impact bra of the same brand, just one size up

way too long band. Way too deep cup for this size.

I bought this because I saw it on sale so got it even though it wasn't my real size (I knew 32 would be too big).
The cups are definitely too big for me with excess fabric that I can't fill.
I can't really comment on the comfort or shape as it was the wrong size and shape for me.

I'm trying to decide whether to keep this bra with a 30 band or try a 32. I find it quite snug but I think that is partially because the bra's band is quite firm. It doesn't stretch as much as many of my bras. I find the shape slightly mimizing which I like. I don't get color show through which I really like. The band across the front flips up just like my Cleo lily. I think I have a little flaring there.. Maybe it's just chub. I can't say for sure, it's worse though if I suck in my stomach and push out my ribs. I'm really happy that the straps are a little wider too. Unfortunately the bra is threatening my armpits in the front but not so much so that I can't wear the bra, thought it probably won't be an 18 hour type for me between that and snug (for me) band.

I love this bra! It doesn’t look like it would offer much support, but it really keeps everything in place and is incredibly comfortable. It’s always my first choice for travel, since I can wear it for a really long time without discomfort. I’ve worn it for sports and as an everyday bra for almost two years, and machine washed it regularly - and it still looks and feels as good as new. The band is not true to size, I wear one size up (they only go down to 32 and I normally wear 30), but it fits perfectly on the tightest hook and hasn’t stretched out.

The bra seems well-constructed and sturdy, especially for medium- and lower-impact exercise if it fits well and the band is snug. I get quad-boob from this bra on both sides, but somehow have empty space in the bottom and sides of the cups. I think the cups may be too shallow. This band size is usually too large for me, but this one feels a bit too tight as sports bras sometimes do, perhaps partly because the cups are too small. It is definitely a snug 36.
The straps come down far enough unless I try to cross them. In that case, they do not. My boobs are either too tall or set too low, and I couldn't even get this on as a racerback bra.
This fit provides absolutely no support for me because of the poor fit. I bounce more with this bra than virtually any other regular bra I've tried on. It simply does not work.
The front half of the straps are thicker and padded.

This used to be a great bra for full cup and minimising, and 36F fitted me at 34G because the band was small. However, in the suppliers (in China) recently changed the fabric content to a higher Lycra percentage, altered the wire shape and shortened the front gore, reduced the effective cup size by at least one letter, and changed the fit from full cup to balconnet. Berlei UK said they were not consulted, but can't or won't change back.

I'm not used to the whole... underwire thing, and it's not sitting very nicely on top of my ribcage. Maybe I'll get used to it, but right not it's not the best. Plus the little... design on the straps and top of the cup is mildly uncomfortable.

Unfortunately, this bra is too small in the cups and too big in the band for me. However, I have still worn and it does a pretty good job when it comes to running/biking/lifting etc. I'd definitely buy another one it they carried larger cup sizes. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" />
I should say that it runs somewhat small in the band and even when I was measuring at exactly 34" around my underbust it was too small to put on. It started to get comfortable once I had lost a bit of weight and was measuring about 33" to 33.5".

ZOMG how did I miss (or somehow know and then forget) that you were starting a blog? I love it. It's very snappy and engaging even when it's all technical. Are you a professional writer? (I'm an editor by trade, but you won't be needing me, clearly!)
If you're actually a regular columnist in the NYTimes and I'm totally embarrassing myself by not recognizing your style, please PM me to answer that question :-D
