The almost perfect bra for me. I fill the cups near perfectly. The band is just ever-so-slightly too loose, and the straps are ever-so-slightly too far apart. The gore is comfy, and tacks almost-but-not-quite completely.
Nayanya No, I don't. Do you have an easy trick for me?
It's beautiful! If the band is too loose, you can always take it in a little bit. I've noticed that helps my center gore to tack better on my old bras.,
If the gore feels too wide, just align the wires together and when the fabric on the gore is together sew (you can hand sew or use a machine)a line across the fabric on the gore. IMO it is the easiest alter to do.
And brasihatelove has a really easy blog on how to make bands smaller.
Levana Bratique website said it runs large in the cup and tight in band, but I don't find that to be true at least in this size range. I ordered my regular volume but had to sister size up in the band because they actually didn't have the size I ordered after I already placed my order, unfortunately.
I do actually quite like the style though. So far it has been comfortable but I have not worn it all day yet. Even though I had to size up in the band I don't regret purchasing and think it will come in handy. Some reviews said the plastic boning was ...uncomfortable but I didn't find that to be true thus far.
There is a bit of bulging at the waist after the longline part ends, so if you have a larger than average waist proportional to your band size, I might avoid this style.
I kind of wish there were more hooks than three but not a major issue in this size.
I plan to wear this often for cosplays so I will update this review when I can on long-wear comfort.
It is shallow at the bottom of the cup but not too shallow for me thankfully. If you need projection at the wire I don't recommend this. It is probably best for even breasts, maybe some top fullness if your roots aren't too tall. The apex seems a bit high.
It does come with detachable straps so the bra is a convertible, however I find them to be much stretchier than I prefer and intend to use a different pair of convertible straps.
I like the material of the bra. Very soft and stretchy. When my hands aren't moisturized enough they kind of catch on the fabric though LOL Read more 186 more words
Not the right shape for me, but keeping for casual days since it's comfortable and inexpensive. The shape is a bit too plunge-like so I get some center spillage, and gapping at the outer edges. The shape under clothes is also a bit too low and pointed.
So this bra is niiice and tight for a 32! I was really hoping for that because it's 2 band sizes from my preference. I got this in a big amazon order hoping to find some really cute things for valentines day. The cups are definitely too small, maybe by 2 cup sizes. The gore doesn't lie flat and the straps are far to far apart. There is SOO much padding, but it's pretty cute on. It wasn't very expensive so I might keep it just because it's not uncomfortable and I like how it looks. Plus it has removable straps so I could use it for a strapless bra since it's basically impossible to have a well-fitting strapless bra.
This bra is comfortable and great for hot summer days. The band is very stretchy but does not ride up or dig in but some people might want to go down a band size in it if they want more "support". It gives a nice natural shape (aka: light support). I wouldn't suggest this bra for larger sized breast. Only wrinkles a little on my smaller left breast. Maybe a tad too deep.
This bra fits amazing. Everything is comfortable, and I love that it's a convertible racerback. My last bra's straps had worn out and I wore it racerback every day, so I got really used to that. I think the plain black is a little simple, but I plain to paint the fabric anyways, and that's just a matter of style and not comfort.
This bra is slightly too deep for me, as I am a shallow 32D. I can wear the Betsey Johnson "Eyelet Lace" bra comfortably in this size, but the "Zipper Stripe" has too much volume at the apex of the cup. (Although it doesn't gap much at the top.) Is a very comfortable, lightweight moulded cup!
This bra is great for a relatively shallow 32D. It's a great demi cup and the lace overlay is comparatively flat. I have been able to wear this bra (in other colors that I've owned) under t-shirts with no show-through on the lace. It lies nice and flat on breast types where many other 32D moulded cups gap. I love the metallic finish (limited color)! I've just decided I can't use this bra since I own similar ones. Never worn - just popped the tags off.
I wish I had been able to find this bra in a size a bit closer to my size (30E/F) but that was before I had found anything in my size and tried a lot of stuff on. Anyway, I do love this bra it's comfy though I think it would be more comfortable if I got a Rixie Clip for it. Being a little small the sides don't always quite hold everything in but most times it's fine... It's still comfortable enough so, it's one of those "I just feel like wearing this crazy bright bra" kinds of things. I did wash it on the handwash cycle of my washing machine (and I've washed an antique blouse in there) and the color doesn't seem as bright and it may be a little stretchier. It's not the perfect thing for me but I like it enough and it's comfy enough that I kept it!
It's itchy! Otherwise I like it. I'll update this if the itch changes over time. I might shorten the band a little bit for a snugger fit. I wanted something lightweight and not made of foam to wear on occasion, and I think this will do.
Very comfortable and supportive, and has a kind of rounding/flattening/widening effect on my boobs. There is a tiny bit of space at the top of the bra, which is likely because my boobs are somewhat shallow. The seams and lace can show through tight shirts, however. It is possibly my most comfortable bra and I love how well it stays in place.
I have wide-set/rooted breasts that spread out under my arms and is fuller at the bottom. Betsey Johnson bras usually extend to that area so I have several in this brand. This style in particular does a pretty good job. I have a feeling if I got this in my usual size it would fit perfectly (I got it on sale in 32D instead of 30DD).
Pros: - Incredibly comfortable (I can sleep in these) - wide under wire (extends to underarms) - strap width is sufficient for my size (bigger boobs might need thicker straps?) - straps are fully adjustable
Do you know how to take a center gore in?
