Oh good lord. I tried this because like the other reviewer, it was too wild not to give it a shot. It... did not go well. I'm typically a 30E, so the band on the 32DD was looser than I'd like. Cup width was good, and the triple front straps are kind of neat looking, but that's about it. Friends, if your nipple sits on the top third of your breast, UNSUPPORTED, you might be able to get away with this "bra," but I was not. Oh no. My nipples ended up way below the lace applique, and no amount of manipulation of the bra, the strap length, or my breast tissue was going to change that. And like the other reviewer, the cup strapping cut my breasts into unfortunately shaped lumps. I think this is really only going to work for small busted folks with self supporting breasts and (relatively) high nipples.
Suffice to say, I will not be sharing pictures of this particular failure!
It was so wild I had to try it, but yes, the open cup design cuts my breasts into three separate lumps each. Maybe firmer breasts would do better? The bra itself is very pretty, but it is unwearably ridiculous on me.
Bought because review suggests the band fits very small - and this was correct, I usually wear a 28 band and this works for me! Very very pretty and delicate
I fell in love with the look of this bra with the heavy straps and the cut out pattern dominating those straps, cups, and band. Once alterations are done to fit me, I think that I will be pleased with the appearance. The quality of the hardware could be better, the mesh is a bit rough on the skin - perhaps with washing it will improve. Also the band is too stretchy - reasonable band length stretches out to 34 inches so size down if you are interested. This stretchiness runs into the straps as well. I am not sure that this bra ...would be suitable for women with any weight to their breasts. Overall glad that I got to try this brand for only $20 without ending up having to pay courier fees. I would not recommend international shipping from Bluebella itself as courier fees will run an additional $20 on top of purchase and shipping.
Post Alterations. I have put in a grey cup so the bra now matches some black and grey undies I have. I also sewed on some elastic to the band to restrict the stretchiness instead of shortening the band. I am correct in that I love the look of the bra. THe wider straps balance out my shape nicely. A big win for all the hassel of shipping and alterations. Do note that the quality of the elastic is even poorer then initially thought. Unless you are willing to reinforce the straps, I cannot see how this could be a worthwhile bra. Downgraded quality to poor. I do not think that I wold ever buy another Bluebella bra because of the low quality.
Post repairs. My puppy chewed the strap after being left alone for 30 seconds (or so it seemed. The strap is now mended and looks okay. I am sad. Read more 217 more words
Definitely small. I took a lot of adjusting to make it fit right on me. The lace doesn't sit right without some shifting. I still really love the design and will be keeping and wearing it.
I usually wear 30DD/28E. I have fairly even breasts with average-wide roots and tallish roots where the tissue thins out over a larger slope on top.

Weird, weird fit on me.
Definitely for short roots; does not look good on my taller roots. I think it would be an awful match for full on top breasts as well; it would cut into the tissue on top but it also would not look as intended if you don't have enough fullness at the bottom of the cup to fill out the cut-out parts. I didn't adjust the underwire into my left breast before I took pics (I already knew I hated ...this bra and would return it lol) and so you can see what it looks like when it's not filled out there from the front view.
Would be a fun "special occasion" bra, but for me the fit issues are too much for me to keep it even though it was heavily discounted. I do not find it to be a flattering fit on me. Cup is very sheer. None of the materials feel scratchy though which is good. Read more 78 more words
~70J/32G ~65K/30GG, projected, bottom and center full, tall roots, avarage root width, soft tissue ----- So beautifull. I really wanted this to fit, it's such a pretty bra. It is too shallow and overall to small for me tho, I feel my breasttissue squeezing out of the top and sides and the gore doesn't completely tack either. I got it in a 65J I think and there was no bigger size available anyway.
Oh, man, it's even prettier in person than I expected and it doesn't fit at all. I was hoping the upper mesh section would be forgiving of tall roots, and that seems to be the case, but the molded (red) portion is so much too small that it doesn't matter.
The band is also a little on the tight side for a 32 (and for my taste), but that would be workable if the cups fit.
Quality looks solid. The open back would probably not be super comfortable for a long day, but I haven't worn it to be sure.
This bra/body combo is a very interesting product, but due to not being able to check the measurements I chose size Xtra Large. Eeeek, mistake! The band of the bra portion of the body is so big I have to wrap it around myself 2 times (!) to make it work, though it would be easy to alter, I am just damn lazy. It will go straight to listings section, here is the link to a proper picture of what it looks like on a person: http://i62.tinypic.com/35jm9l4.jpg
What I like best about this body is that it has two separate pieces, which means you can wear the bra portion separately from the panties. For smaller boobs wit would easily work for an interesting piece under a see-thru dress (yes, I am hardcore).
There's no way I could do it either. Not sure that appliqué would cover my nipples at all lol
At least you tried! 👍
