This is a really pretty bra with old glamour appeal. The 30dd seems to fit me pretty well volume-wise, so I think it's true to size. The inside of the cups have a rigid mesh on the sides, pushing everything front and center. I guess this is what a lot of people want, but it makes my boobs look kind of strange, as they are naturally bottom heavy. This is not to say this bra is uncomfortable. The bra's lace and lining are very soft. The clasp in the back is a little itchy, however. The cups were a pretty good fit except for a tiny bit of ...folding at the tops. I think this may be more of a shape issue than a size issue though. The immediate shallowness at the sides and bottom of the cups, and the slight wrinkling at the top say to me, "full on top". I have large nipples and am concerned with show-through in unlined bras and along with the tiny bit of wrinkling, is enough for me to pass on this bra. Read more 71 more words
I'm not sure how I feel about this bra. It's nice, and it sort of fits, but I feel like the out part of the cups cover too much, so the fabric may irritate my underarms. The wire itself isn't particularly high though. This is one out of two size 30 bands where the gore doesn't completely tack. The gore on this bra is at the same distance as my size 32 bands. This is a moulded bra, but I'd almost consider it padded. The padding is kind of thick-- thicker than ALL of my other moulded bras (VS included). Although I don't believe it's considered a push up bra, I do few quite a bit of cleavage/quad boob. (But that may just be my breasts, all moulded bras do that). I'm glad I didn't size up a cup like its recommended.
I think this is the bra I got. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00N58IVY6/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1 It fits pretty well on my smaller boob but is a little small for my larger one. Because of how other 30dd bras fit, I'd say the cups run a bit small. Further, they are a touch too projected for me, but I am shallow and wide rooted. The wires are a decent width.
This bra is very similar to the Chantelle Rive Gauche T-shirt Bra (3086), which is why I picked it up. Online the brand said René Rofé but it arrived with tags for Bombshell Boudoir. The cups are a bit too wide set for me and I get some quadding in the front/middle where my boobs would rather be sitting than in the cups. The band is nice wide lace and there are 3 hooks so it feels very sturdy but not restricting since it's also quite stretchy. The gore is millimeters from touching at its top edge, but no wires are poking me despite being fairly tall there. The cups aren't padded like a push up but they are quite thick. The wide set of the cups makes me look more east-west than I prefer, but overall this bra is very comfortable.
