Wow. This is the most awkward bra I have ever come across. I clearly couldn't wear any where to complete a very thorough review, but I did wear it around the house twice. I have NO IDEA what they were thinking with this bra design.
This bra reminds me of those coconut bras except it is made of foam and microfiber.
The padding starts about two inches down from the top of the cup in the center of the cup. The padding starts at the top of the wire casing on both sides of the cup. So, there's a very wide 'U' shape at the top of the ... cup that has no padding. The padding is barely graded at all, it's just about the same thickness all over. I think this was supposed to some how boost the breast and make cleavage....but the top closes in so much that you would have to have extremely short roots for this bra not to dig into you. I do not believe that this bra could sit in ANYONE'S IMF. The padding takes up 3.5" of space starting at the under wire.
The cups are massively wide, at least for me. The cup separation starts at 1.3" wide, measured at top of the gore, and becomes 2", wide measured at the bottom of the gore. Definitely a very wide set bra. Digs into my tissue on all parts of my breast besides the outside. The cups have about three quarters of an inch worth of space between my breast root and the outside of the cup.
The wires are fairly firm with very little flex to them. The under wire channels are padded though. Which is always a nice feature.
The straps are your typical bra straps that come with all strapless bras. They're a very thin, fully adjustable, stretch satiny fabric. When attached they are set fairly wide. When I have the straps attached, it looks like they're growing out of my chest!!! There's seven different spots to connect the straps to, one on the gore, one on each cup, and two on each side of the band.
The top of the band is lined with a silicone strip, which is typically used on strapless bras. The elastic on the band is pretty plush and comfortable. The band is also acceptably stretchy. I like it. It's not too stretchy or too firm.
Overall, the bra is badly designed. Definitely not designed with a real breast in mind. The quality of the fabric is nice, who doesn't like microfiber? I only see one loose thread. I like how the bra has different spots on the bra to connect the straps. With all it's horrible design, it is a comfortable bra. I'm not quite sure whom it would fit though. A women with wide, short roots, and centre full with a very slight slope from apex to IMF to allow the under wire to sit at IMF. Perhaps some one quite shallow would fit/like it.
I had to put the appearance as "Meh" because it looks atrocious by itself, but it still gives a nice rounded shape under clothes and are very fitted. Quality is "Okay" because while it is technically sewn together well and the fabrics are decent, the design is THE WORST! Comfort is "Good," you know, except for the fact that it's digging in everywhere and I could see the wires becoming uncomfortable with longer term wear.
