This bra is a great everyday bra, it’s wireless which is what I prefer so it’s reasonably comfortable, although the straps are too far outwards for me and they dig in which can be painful. It fits really well, my breast tissue is completely encased in the bra, it would be perfect if it wasn’t for the straps.
This Bras N Things, push up pink laced bra is excellent support and very comfortable. keeps everything in place whilst looking really pretty. The only thing I wish I realized is that in some shirts the lace underneath is visible. But it is a great bra, has the perfect amount of padding, that your boob are emphasized but not uncomfortable. Only selling as I have outgrown it.
This would probably be a good bra for someone with wide roots and shallow depth. Unfortunately, that person is not me. I bought this before I knew anything about sizing and when the sales person said it fit. It doesn't. I could almost fit a whole 'nother me inside the band (maybe closer to a 32 than 30?) and I have quad boob everywhere. This is not surprising considering I'm a 28FF/G! The quality, however, seems to be good and the fabric is comfortable.
Over all my years of wearing bras, this is my personal favourite. I never really like wires as they always poked my skin and caused bruising, and in comparison this wire-free bra is so much more comfortable. Despite all of this, I have fitting issues. Mainly that the band is too big for me and that the gore does not lay flat on my skin. I also have an issue where when I wear the bra throughout the day, I feel fine until I take it off and it feels like I’ve just taken 20lbs off of me (although I’m not sure if this is normal).
My recommended bra size from ABTF is 30D/DD which isn’t too far off this bra size. For now this is my everyday bra.
This is probably the most comfortable bra I own. My only fit issue is that it isn't projected enough for me, but that's a problem I have with almost all bras. The band isn't as comfortable as the 10E - Bras N Things » Body Bliss Lace Full Cup Bra (00525003) , but I do have very texture sensitive skin. Standard 2x3 hooks. The straps are comfortable, after initially getting used to the metal o rings connecting to adjustable to un-adjustable sections. The parts that sit on the shoulder are slightly padded (or the seams are?)
The cups are made of that spacer fabric material, which moulds ...to the breast shape but still is smooth under clothes, personally I find bras made of this to be the most comfortable. I think this bra offers a good compromise between the smoothness and comfort (texture wise) of a moulded cup and the more ability to be more projected nature like sewn bras, albeit losing a little of the shape a moulded bra gives.
The wires are quite narrow, some of the most narrow I've tried and they don't poke into my underarms which is great, but I think because the cups aren't projected enough for me, they try to dig into my ribs under my breasts. At my smallest just the very top 1-2cm of the gore sits away from my chest, but then again this bra does have a some what shorter gore, measuring 6cm. Read more 136 more words
Right now this bra is a bit tight on me, but I'm working on losing weight so I expect it to fit much better soon. It's still wearable as things are right now and it seems to have a good minimizing effect.
The cups are too big; quite a bit of gapping at the top, especially when I raise my arms or hug myself. The straps are too wide or come up too widely; it hurts when I raise my arms/hug myself, as the side of the cups and straps dig into my armpit fat area (sorry, not sure what this is called). The base feels pretty good though, and fits up against my breasts and the wire doesn't dig into my sternum quite as much as the 12D does.
So I guess I have to find bras that have the equivalent to a 12DD width but with a 12C or 12D in volume...
In the 12D the cup volume is correct, but the underwire isn't up against the bottom of my breast. The straps seem to be a good position compared to my shoulder; I can hug myself without it hurting. The wires dig into the sternum, and I think I could do with a smaller band size.
The bra is the most comfortable of all the Bras n Things varieties I tried on. The cup lining is very soft cotton or rayon, which feels really nice. However, I notice there is about a finger-width gap between the wire and the bottom of my breast, with wrinkling. I tried on the 12DD which was also comfortable, but I couldn't fill out the cups. I suspect I could do with a smaller band size as well.
I believed this was a very supportive bra. Turns out it fits me really badly. Floating gore, too wide wires, too shallow cups, quad boob etc etc. It is great quality though and the band runs nice and firm. I don't doubt it'd be a great bra for someone who actually fits it!
This is a strapless push-up bra with moulded cups which, for some unknown reason, comes with removable clear straps. It retails for $39.99 in Australia, and $44.99 in New Zealand.
It looks great on the hanger in the rack. There's a nice satin ribbon that runs along the top of the cup. However, if you look closely (which I had to when taking the measurements), you soon realise that the bra is not worth $40.
On my particular bra, there are several overhanging threads left over from sewing. While these do not harm the bra in anyway, it certainly demonstrates a lack of attention in its construction. There seems to ...be puckering in the fabric stemming from a slightly tight thread tension. Stitching seems to be careless as well - on the left cup, there is a noticeable gap between the underwire channel and the band.
The elastic used is of a decent enough quality, so I don't understand why clear straps were included; this is not a convertible bra. However, this is just a personal preference. There is minimal stretch in the band, likely as a result of the elastic used.
I've tried this on a few times, and it hasn't slipped down my body, a common occurence for me with strapless bras. The push-up effect on this bra is minimal - there's a thicker section of foam in the moulding, but all it seems to do for me is make it more difficult to judge whether I've got my breasts sitting properly in it or not.
The lack of give in this bra makes it unwearable for me without an extender. Even on the last hook, it's just too tight. Cup wise, this is a nice fit, even if I have to take more time adjusting my breasts.
If you can pick this bra up for sale around the $20-$25 mark, it'd be a good deal. However, based on what I know about BnT's pricing, it's not going to happen anytime soon. I'll be returning mine for a refund. Read more 227 more words
It's surprisingly comfortable for a bra that's definitely the wrong size for me (too big in the band, too small in the cups). It's quite a nice style, cotton lined cups, good for summer wear. I'd consider buying it again if it was made in my actual size.
This bra gives a nice shape and cleavage and is skin coloured, so it is very versatile and works well under almost any clothing, though the tops of the cups show under some clothes. Although it gives me a good shape, it doesn't fit me properly. When I scoop all of the breast tissue forward into the cups, my breasts bulge out a little, but I don't notice this being a problem when my breasts have settled into the cups during the day. The centre gore does not lie flat, which is a problem! I think I would really need this style in a 28FF or 28G (UK sizing) but it's not available in that size. The band has certainly stretched since I bought it, as can be expected, and though it felt snug at the time of purchase it is now a bit too big in the band. This again suggests that I would be more suited to a 28 band in this style.
Very stretchy fabric, front is too wide, back is very narrow making the cups stretch around under the arms. It is comfortable to wear however the look of it is dreadful.
