I like the color of this swimsuit, and there are advantages to a tankini if you want your stomach covered but don't want the hassle of a one-piece when it comes time to go to the bathroom. Unfortunately, the tankini top constantly rolls up, exposing my tummy. If I wanted that, I would have gone with a bikini! I don't recommend it if covering your stomach is your intention. It is also very obviously contains a bra. I prefer a swimsuit where it isn't so obvious - one where the seams of the bra aren't visible from the front.
But I needed a swimsuit ... to replace one which was about five years old, worn, and many cup sizes too small, and of the ones I ordered, this one fit the best, so I kept it.
I find the band a bit looser than other Bravissimo bras like the Fleur and Contour strapless, but similar to the Satine and Rococo charm. This is my standard size in most bras.
Note: I am writing this review in January, 2013, several months after the swimsuit was purchased. I have given my initial review and fitting comments based on my notes about the fit of the swimsuit near the time of purchase. Since the swimsuit was purchased, my breasts have grown and the swimsuit no longer fits properly. Below are my comments on the current state of the swimsuit:
I haven't worn this swimsuit since my breast growth because it is winter. I expect when I do I will have quad-boob.
Update, 2014: I wore this in the summer of 2013 and was disappointed by the way the tankini kept floating up whenever I was in water. It really needs snaps or hooks to attach it to the bottoms. What's the point of a tankini that exposes your stomach? I may as well wear a bikini! I dislike this swimsuit so much that I already replaced it.
