This bra is an unlined plunge with stretch mesh on the top half of the upper section.
My shape: I am fairly projected, with fairly narrow roots, tall roots, and I lack fullness above the apex of my breasts. I am also close-set.
This plunge is a pretty great fit on me. The wires are the right side of narrow - I also measured how narrow the cups would be if this was not a plunge (so I imagined the gore continuing higher) and got 4.9-5 inches. The wires are also firm, so they do not open up much when the bra is worn. The shape of these wires is ... more of a swoosh than UU.
The gore is somewhat wide, which is a problem I have with Bravissimo's bras generally, but it is *just* low enough that it is comfortable nonetheless.
Cups: these cups have a LOT of immediate depth, and a fair amount of depth at the apex. The top section is a bit closed, so this style would not suit FOT shapes or most tall-rooted types. I can get away with it because I am shallow where it closes and the stretch mesh stops it from cutting in - if you have upper fullness generally you'll likely not suit this bra. Looking at the cup construction, I think the shape could work for centre-full breasts.
The fabric is firm/not at all stretchy, yet supple, so this bra gives good support, but will mould a little to the shape of the breasts. The fabric is also smooth, so this works well as a t-shirt bra.
Band is on the tight side of TTS, as I find with most Bravissimo own brand bras (unlined ones). This one stretches to around 27-27.5 inches before it feels strained (the Mia was similar, as was the Becca bra of theirs). This suits me because my snug varies between 26-27.5, I find roomier 28s don't last long before I need to hook on the tightest hooks to keep the band in place, even with handwashing. So smaller 28 wearers and 26s would get on well with this one.
Look: the bra is simple, elegant in a low-key way. The gore is adorned with a metal triangle shape rather than a bow, which gives it a lovely, modern look. It's unfussy but interesting, I really like it. The matching briefs are ever so cute, too, with a small triangle cut-out on the back. The back is also edged with the same stretch mesh used in the bra, so no double-bum, no VPL.
