I just found my new all-time favorite bra, and will be ordering more ASAP!
The straps are a very soft with a firm stretch and are fully adjustable. I also find that the area of the cup that comes up under the armpit where it meets the strap in the front more comfortable, I don’t feel like the straps are going to fall off my shoulders. The center gore comes up high enough that my breasts don’t wiggle out the center of the bra during the day. The band has three rows of hooks keeping the band firm and in place all day, I feel that the band ...has equally distributed elastic on the top of the band and the bottom of the band so there is no digging in. I can wear this bra on the loosest hooks and have a firm fit. This bra gave me a great shape under a tight fitting shirt. I will be writing Bravissimo a letter encouraging them to make this bra in every color of the rainbow and then some.
*I’d like to say that this bra fits similarly to the Freya Deco, only better. The color nude is almost identical to that of the Freya Deco nude color. I can wear this bra on the loosest hooks, with the Deco I have to wear it on the middle or tightest hooks.* Read more 123 more words
My stats: 28H/HH according to ABTF, 26HH according to bratabase, Narrow and tall roots, projected, extremely immediately projected, FOT and 5'3. (Pictures are ood from when I was measuring at a 28G)
Look: This one-piece doesn't have a lot of details. It's solid black, has a cheeky back similar to the ewa michalak cappuccinowy briefs and a cutout between the clasp and the rest of the suit. The cups are unlined and wired. It's like a one-piece sewn onto a plain bra.
Fit: This fits like a tight banded 28H, the cups are wide and moderately projected, the straps are adjustable and the rest of the suit fits a US 4-6, the butt is way too tight on me though.
Overall impression: "Meh" very simple and semi-conservative suit. It's decently supportive but not stylish. It would be great for a swimming compitition swimsuit.
6/17/15: Update: This bra is still cute and wild, and I find it fits much better after my weight loss. I was 30 pounds heavier when I purchased this back in 2012. That said, the cups contain my bust with no quad-boobing and the band is very comfortable on the loosest set of hooks. I hadn't worn it much due to the ill fit when I was heavier, but find I reach for it now that it fits much better. I do feel the wires are too wide, but don't really poke me so I can live with it. The cup still gives a bit of a pointy ...look, but I think that is just the cut of the bra and under the right shirt can still work for me.
5/2/2012: To tell you the truth, I purchased this bra because of the pattern and color. It is definitely wild. This is my first Bravissimo brand bra so I was unsure of sizing. I purchased a size 28GG, but I think I should have purchased an H cup, but it fits well enough none the less. The band fits well on the loosest hooks on my 26 inch ribs. The quality is nice.
On Bravissimo’s website it is listed as; - Underwired lightly padded plunge - 2 hook fastening in DD-G cups, 3 hooks GG-J -Polyamide polyester cotton elastane
I normally purchase molded cup bras, and have just recently started purchasing sewn padded cup bras. The only complaint I have is that where my nipples sit the stitching doesn’t really lay flat and sort of gives a torpedo type of shape. I’ll be saving this bra to wear under my button-up shirts and such so the seaming won’t be seen. Not sure if I would repurchase this cut again, but like I said I like a more molded round look.
This is a beautiful bra! I love the silky cups and the colour is a pretty good match to my skin colour. Even though it cuts in slightly in my bigger side I'm keeping it as it isn't too bad and I like the shape it gives. It's really comfortable and I like having 3 hooks on the band. The band fits perfectly on the loosest hook. The straps are fully adjustable and the cups are slightly padded. Edit: I was wearing the bra too low which made the top cut in. Pulling the bra up as far as it would go stopped the quadding.
I've been wanting this bra for so long that when it's gone on a sale on ebay, I snatched it up as fast as I can. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />
Now. Got this in 28GG as I read as the Satine runs small, if I'm not mistaken. I usually wear 28G.
This bra is a plunge. Which means, the centre gore is low. Which means, it's good news for my quite close set boobs. The cup is perfect on me, except the wires are a little too wide, so I have one and a half finger worth of empty space on the side. Ideally I'd be ...needing a width of 5.5", this bra is 5.8".
Width aside, this bra is really comfortable on me. My Panache Sienna has the same width, but by the end of the day I feel some discomfort. I guess the wire on Satine is a little thinner compared to Sienna.
The straps are fully adjustable, which is a good news for those who needs it. The width is good on me, not too wide. The band is also firm on me. I used to like super snug band, but now I find myself reaching for looser bands (still snug, but not super snug as before), so the band on Satine feels perfect to me.
The shape is good. Kinda like Panache Ariza-ish shape. It also doesn't show under clothes, so it can be a t-shirt bra for some.
All in all, I'm satisfied with how the bra fits on me, only I wish the cup is a little narrow. Otherwise, it's good. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> Read more 164 more words
I have to ask you, how can you sell this bra? It looks so good on you :D Have the wires starting to bug you?
Branarchist - I knowwwwwwww I'm in love with this bra sobsob. But the wires are too wide. See in that one picture where the bottom is crumbling? I can't deal with that. I have extra space on the sides as well. But it is so comfortable, even with all the space. My brain wouldn't accept the wideness. :(
If it's comfortable and works why get rid of it? Fit doesn't matter :D (oh yes, I'm a branarchist :D)
When it comes to me, a little negative is a 'no' for me if I know there's something better. My mind won't be at peace. For the sake of my sanity, I'll just sell it. Hehe.
Ah I see :D Oh well, you'll always have the pics :D
Wow!!! This bra gives me a wonderful upfront display should I so desire. As someone who has only recently gained noticeable breasts, this is taking a little time to get used to, but I'm looking forward to my first outing with a low cut top on, once my confidence levels have risen.
I had originally tried 28FF and 28G, the latter was OK, but Bravissimo suggested I should try 28GG. I love the fit, the cups are wide enough for my boobs, unlike the 28G, and I also feel much more secure with the wider band and triple hooks of the 28GG compared with the double hooks of the 28G.
I really want to love this one. The color is wonderful, the fit is pretty dang close, but the join where the bra strap attaches to the cup material is uncomfortable - poking into my skin in an irritating way. It might just be this particular bra - and not the make/model.
Again, while the colbolt color is more interesting, I wish there were more designs for this one. This is a slightly larger size for me, which makes the straps around the neck a bit more comfortable, but sacrifices a little of the support. Still, one of the best swim tops to date with excellent coverage and support.

Material feels cheap. I sized up in this one, but there is still not enough projection at the wire for me. Hardware is cheap; hooks are loosely attached.
The band on this bra rolls up nonstop for me, but I’ve concluded that longline bras just don’t work for people with short torsos. The straps are quite stretchy but I think this might be what’s causing them to dig into my shoulders uncomfortably. Overall, I’d describe the whole bra as having a stretchy feel with a lace overlay — this affects its supportiveness.
I think this bra is incredibly pretty, however, I should not have kept it as it did not even fit properly when I bought it. I don’t think the cup shape will work for FoT breasts.
This is by far the best-looking and most flattering bra I've ever tried on. The shape is nice even with the slight quad-boob. It fit well when I bought it, but sometimes my breasts blow up, and right now the cups are a bit too small. I tried a 28H Sweet Medley, and although it's supposed to be have the same model, it doesn't fit anything like the Lucine.
The band is quite tight. I bought it two years ago and I still use the loosest hooks (though it has been sitting in my closet for long periods of time).
The only problem was that the underwires popped out in a few weeks. Now I fixed them for the second time. I hope Bravissimo has started covering the ends with plastic like many others do.
There's just enough room in the cup for my breasts. If I were only a little more FOT, I would have four boobs (which probably makes this a no-no that one week of the month when I'm fuller). Only extremely deep breaths and/or pushing my shoulders back as far as they go makes the seam cut in on top. The style is similar to Freya's unpadded plunges, but with a higher gore and a taller cup, which I'm guessing is what makes this bra not cut across my breasts like those Freyas do. It gives a similar shape, but more upfront and uplifted. The cups are wider than ...I like, but not shallow, and I'm glad to say this bra seems to work just fine.
The solid beige on the band, straps and base colour of the cups is a light vanilla toffee, which is a perfect skintone colour on me. I simply adore the palette of this bra; the soft browns and lilacs, with contrasting aqua and green lines in the pattern, and a darker brown for the embroidery on the upper cup. The look of this bra reminds me of the design on many shortbread biscuit tins or boxes of Scottish fudge, and I love anything that reminds me of things I can eat, especially cakes, biscuits and sweets. Because I love those things. C'mon, who doesn't? Read more 120 more words
After realising that I needed a much tighter band than a 30 or 32 Due to terrible shoulder ache I remeasured myself and discovered I needed a 28 band or tighter. However, I wasn't quite sure about cup size. My 30FFs were a good fit for cup size but not band size at all. I decided to try to buy some cheap bras in 28G, the sister size (I think). However the cups were much too small (@ gorgeous Debenhams and marks and Spencer's which I didn't realise at the time had a different sizing system above FF). So I bought this 28GG very cheaply for sizing reasons. It fitted much better. No bulges whatsoever. However it slightly wrinkles in the cup. Only slightly, which makes me think it might be the cut? However, after wearing it for a few days, the terrible shoulder pain came back. So not sure if it is because the band is not tight enough (I wear it in the tightest hook).
It was a pleasing surprise to find that this size fits me in this model by Bravissimo. I ordered it together with the Bravissimo Satine (Ivory), but I didn't like the looks and feel of that one on me at all, even though it was the same size.
It is comfortable to wear, although the wires are a bit too wide for me. Despite that, I do miss the forward projection that the Ewa Michalak bras have. This bra gives them a more natural shape. But after wearing the EM bras, my breasts feel tiny now!
Even though it is not yet the 'perfect' bra, I will keep it for now. It is nice to have a bra that fits quite well and is comfortable to wear.
so, is it pretty shiny also, or is it just the lighting?
