This bra is the first I've had from Bravissimo. The overall quality and feel of this bra is good, it feels sturdy and it has good seams.
It's really cute. The black background color is shiny in the cup fabric, but the small flowers and the flowery lave in the top part of the cup are really charming. The ruffles along the edges are also a nice touch. I really like the patterns in the flowery lace, and it's a shame that this doesn't fit because the design is quite nice.
The lace in the top part of the cup is not stretchy. And that is possibly an issue for me, as stiff lace gives the cup a more closed shape and since I'm fairly vertically even. The cup fabric is stiff, like I'd expect, but that doesn't leave much room for the breast if it's a little too big for the cup.
My shape: Even to FOB, soft, low set, with narrow and short roots.
The bra: This bra is so pretty! Such a beautiful springy-summery bra, I love it! The colours are vibrant and pop out set on the white background. There is a tiny white bow on the gore and straps; very cute and understated. It is a 3 part lightly padded half cup with 2 vertical seams, and it is a longline with 5 clasps x 3 columns. The material is satiny on the outside and cottony on the inside, which means shirts don't get stuck on the outside material. Straps are fully adjustable, and I have ...plenty of length left even though I'm lower set. I find the band "true to size" for a 30, stretching just past 30" before wires start to distort... snug not tight, and perfect for a longline. This bra is super comfortable on top of everthing... No rubbing, chaffing, etc. The lower band does bunch up a bit after wearing it, but I think that happens in most longline bras.
The shape: ROUND, uplifted, centered, cakes on plates. The cups are short enough to really show off the upper portion of the boob, and I'd definitely say it rivals Ewa Michalak bras for shaping. Of course, this bra is slightly small on me, so maybe I'd get less cleavage in a properly fitted bra, but I am impressed anyways. The straps are also not as wide-set as EM bras are, so there was no tail of spence chaffing. There are no cookie pockets, so keep that in mind if you're comparing EM vs this bra.
I'm considering ordering the larger size to see if it encloses everthing a bit more. I do feel a bit squished, and my upper boob is flattened from the bra being a bit too small. I am worried that the larger size will be too large and create gaping though (ggrr, I hate being between sizes). Either way, lovely bra all around. Read more 225 more words
I wish i could wear it - but longlines are definietly not for me. Shame bravissimo doesnt offer it as a normal bra, as definitely Id buy it! Im very glad you like it (at least the aesthetics)

in my opinion, the bra doesnt look like its size too big, more like half size - im not sure how the wires would be in bigger size. If youd decide, probably youd need to use cookies with it? I found bravissimo to be weird. I bought two plunges couple of days ago, and while the padded one I had to have in 30F, the soft I needed in 30E (and I have already same construction soft one but old model/sample and 30F is perfect). Also Satine i need to take in extra bigger size 30FF!
martka00 thanks for that. ... That's what I'm worried about too, and there are no cookie pockets, which is less comfortable. Maybe I'll just stick with this size. Perhaps the cups will stretch a touch and be just right. I really hate gaping in bras!
That size variation would make it hard to shop online! So far I'm happy with Bravissimo though, so it's worth it! I haven't tried their satine bras yet because plunges don't really work for me, but I love the way they look.
yeah, no cookie pockets its a struggle sometimes. Especially with pretty bras like this one! so lets hope as you saying it might stretch a bit and then will be great :)
I agree, but im glad I ordered bras in two sizes (intuition worked very well!). Im very bad with plunges, so far didnt find perfect one as I have tall roots and all digs in, but now im wearing 30F - Bravissimo » Flutter Me Bra (LN236) for around 15 mins and seems to be promising, and has only tiny diggin in. Satines are bit worst but acceptable. Ill see how the 30F - Bravissimo » Starry Eyed Bra (LN271) will work as I might switch to them from Satine . Also I found bravissimo to be more comfortable than most brands (even Ewa bras and some Comexims) . If youll have a chance to try, go for it girl! Sometimes minor issues (like small digging in) are less important than the comfort offered by them.

This bra is so pretty. I desperately wanted it to fit. I ordered this bra blind (no data was available in this size) hoping for the best - but I think this model, in this size, might work better for someone with slightly wider and shallower breasts, who needs a firm band.
The appearance of this bra is outstanding. It is straight up gorgeous. The white lace overlay is dreamy and gives the bra a really romantic look and feel, and gives the bra an almost longline look without the extra fabric. The stretch lace at the top of the cup has lots of give - it ...is really accommodating. The bottom of the cups are lined with what appears to be power mesh and are much less forgiving - the hold / support of the cups is firm. While the stretch lace at the top was really accommodating for my FOT boobs (and looked great!), but the bottom of the cup was not quite deep enough and I felt very squished. The wires of this bra are also wider than I typically prefer.
The band of this bra was surprisingly firm. I typically wear a 28 band and found the band of this bra to be ideal on the middle hook. If you are a true 30 or need a little more stretch, you may want to size up.
I hear you on the Millie. The first time I ordered from Bravissimo, I sent it back, very sad because it is utterly stunning & I don't fully understand why. I ultimately got fitted into Millie at an actual U.K. Bravissimo, and my mind changed. I bought the dark blue one - still stunning - and figured out that I needed to go all the way to a 32H to fit properly. It is a very firm band, indeed.
I took the plunge! I've never had problems with high gores so I've been a longtime fan from balconnet and ful cup styles as I like to feel contained and secure specially at work. Thing is great fitting bras gave me the confidence to finally embrace my boobs en consider low cut necklines never before on my personal clothes radar. When I saw the unpadded Elise and its subtle frill free design I had to try it.
The cups are made of one-sidedly printed fabric and finished at the upper border with elastic mesh. The material overall feels lighter and suppler as for example in the Panache Jasmine ...Balconnet Bra (6951) but nevertheless this bra brings my breasts in and stays equally put troughout an entire working day. It is surprisingly comfortable. Never thought so low a gore would do the trick for me but it turned out I really like the natural tear-drop shape this bra gives me.
The 1'' wide gore is definitely something to consider if this is your fitting pittfall. But for my FoB wideset breasts the shape of this bra works pretty well even if I could use maybe a tad more projection at the bottom. Read more 92 more words
Stella is a new Bravissimo style. It looks like a bralette, but this triangle bra has underwires. The cups are unlined, unpadded, seamed lace. The gore is extremely low. This super low gore was the main selling point for me. Most plunge bras are still too high for me in the gore area. When I wear an Ewa Michalak PL or 3D all day and then try the Stella on, I can see where the PL or 3D's wires were lying on breast tissue. Stella's gore is mercifully low and narrow. The narrow part is important, because sometimes a short gore will still be too wide. Sometimes a ...short gore also starts too high up compared to the lowest point of the underwire. A short gore doesn't do me much good if it's positioned where the top half of a tall gore would be on my chest.
If I hadn't read many Stella reviews saying to size up in the cup, I wouldn't have ordered both 30F and 30FF. The 30F technically fit. In a too small cup, I usually get spillage under the arms. I don't get that in 30F. However, the 30FF has a rounder, more projected profile and is more comfortable than the 30F. I returned the 30F. On the return paperwork, I requested an exchange for another 30FF. Bravissimo's website says 30FF is sold out, so we'll see. I hope they come out with Stella in a nude-for-me color. Bravissimo Satine - my new favourite bras! I just cant stop buying them! I want all possible colours and models! One of the most comfiest bras that ive ever owned in my life. I love their satin softness. The wires are comfy, short and on the flexible side. When the bra is on, it might look like wires are too wide, however after I took the bra of after all day, the wires left small marks just around my breast - usually I get bad red marks after hard Ewa wires, but Satines leave only gentle ones that dissappear after couple of mins. The gore is relatively low ...and also does not cause any pain! The band is perfect on me, however it is made only of 1 layer of mesh, which I really hate as this gives to bra shorter life unfortunately. I feel secure and comfortable on loosest set, however I could easily close on 2nd row or even on 3rd. The cup depth is good, even very good for my boobs, however there are some quadboobs - I am sure that the size is correct, but its just my bust isnt compatible with this model. BUT I DONT CARE! its so comfy and great bra that I dont really care about that, also it doesnt show under tight tank tops, so the issue is not actually a problem! Straps are good, they nicely hide under my tank tops, also theyre made of soft and easy to adjust fabric. I love that theyre wider so they dont dig into my skin.

I bought the Bravissimo Stella bra in a size 30F (my usual size). At the beginning the band ran quite tight, but after a few wears it was okay. This bra runs small in cup size as well, I wish I had ordered it in an 30G. The cups are a bit shallow for me, so combined with the too small cups and the low cut plunge my boobs fell out in the middle after some minutes of wearing it. Other than that the bra is beautifully made, the lace & the style are simple yet sexy. The non-padded cups have a soft lining on the inside, so there is no itching. If you are thinking about buying this bra, I recommend you go up at least 1 (if not 2) cup sizes.

I just got Bravissimo's Tanzania Stripe in a 30F, though I've worn the same bra in 28FF for some months. It's an unpadded, unlined half cup bra with that wonderful cakes-on-a-plate cleavage and rounded profile vertical seam construction is known for. Though my tight underbust measurement is 28," I decided I could probably get the same shape, with greater comfort, in a 30 band. This seems to be the case. I'm going to keep this bra. I have the matching shorts in XS. Their design is particularly beautiful and cleverly designed. The back of the shorts has an inverted triangle of the zebra stripe material. I've included photos ...of the front and back. I'm considering getting another couple pairs. I wish the purple background color were slightly more vivid, but the slightly iridescent green stripes make up for it.
One thing that annoys me about this bra, and it's something I find in a lot of bras of all brands, is the underwire does not completely fill the underwire channel. There is .625" (5/8") of space that is not filled. I prefer my underwires as high as possible on the sides, under my arms, since I have a wide root. I slide the underwires away from the center gore a couple times a day when I wear the 28FF Tanzania Stripe. I expect to have to do the same with this 30F. Read more 123 more words
This bra is a major disappointment for me. I am in love with the teal colour and its rose gold finish. I also really like the super soft fabric on the cups. It is with great regret I have concluded that this bra simply does not fit. I've seen a lot of reviews on Bravissimo's website saying that they had issue with the fastener to make it into a racerback style*, but I personally did not have difficulty with it.
I was fitted by a Bravissimo sales assistant. I normally wear a 30FF but I don't think my breasts seemed to fill the tops of the cups in the ...FF well so they put me in an F cup and said it was a good fit. And it did feel comfortable and look okay at first so I bought it.
I've now worn it for longer periods of time and my issues are:
1) it became clear that the wires in the bra were not wide enough and that it was sitting on my breast tissue and would hurt after a few hours. I think this is simply due to it being an F cup instead of FF.
2) the fastener presses uncomfortably on my neck unless I have the straps at their loosest, so there's no tension on the straps at all. It actually really aches after a while if I have them snugly tightened how I normally would with a bra. The height of the actual fastener relative to the band is not adjustable, so you can't have it not sitting on your neck. This seems to be a common complaint. I opted to leave it undone when wearing but the ruins shaping effect it's supposed to have by kinda pulling them in.
3) When I have properly swooped and scooped the cups wrinkle at the bottom. Over the course of a day I find the wire ends up being pushed downwards. I both of these things are due to a shape misfit, but I also found it was difficult to pull it up into my IMF due to the wires being too narrow. I do not think the wrinkles are caused by the cups being too big, if anything they might be slightly too small in the F, since I seem to spill out in the middle after adjustment. I think I err on being a bit full on bottom and projected and the bra is just not suited for my shape.

I bought this pre-loved from eBay, I don't think it's been sold in the shops for quite a while. I thought it would fit the same as my Satine 30F but the fit is slightly different, the cups seem to have more depth in them. This works out better for me as my Satine 30F was too shallow, although the wires were the right width. The wires are also short so they don't dig in to breast tissue at the front or come up too high into the armpit.
This was one of the first new bras I bought which was anywhere near my 'real' size. I had previously been wearing old, stretched out UK 32Cs and wondered why whenever I tried on new 32Cs they were all far too small.
I was looking for a plunge bra as I am close set but lots of DD+ bras have high wires at the front which rest on my tissue. I managed to try this on in a Bravissimo shop during the summer when COVID restrictions were relaxed in my country. As it was the best fitting bra I had tried on at that point, I bought it immediately. Now, I think it is actually too small. The wires are the right width for me but the cups are too shallow, there is some quadding, especially when I take a deep breath in. Under clothes, I get a slightly strange pointed look.
I also have a feeling the Satine model runs slightly smaller than other bras. I have some Freya 30Fs which are larger in the cup.
This is a very comfortable bra! The straps have a thick, soft foam cushioning. The double banded back feels snug yet soft. There's a lot of stretch to the band. I think it might technically be too large on me, but I can breathe with no constriction. I can jump and run with no discomfort at all! Yet, the cups themselves give me an odd, sort of lumpy shape. When I swoop and scoop, my boobs are squished together. The middle section doesn't touch my sternum, but maybe that's the style. The tag is itchy, so I might tear it out.
This is a cup size larger than the calculator suggested. I'm not sure if the lumpy effect would go away in my normal 30E. As is, I'll keep it because it's a lot better than what I used to wear!

In a 30F, this bra had a slight quad boob effect. I sized up to a 30FF and no more quad boob! Since it's a lined cup, any extra room in the cup isn't really visible. At worst I think there's some extra room on the sides.
Me: Soft tissue, average root width, tall roots. Breasts are relatively even when supported except for the tall root bit. Center fullness has pretty much ruled out balconettes for me, but I have a problem with underwires 1) not staying in the IMF and 2) digging into my ribs. I'm guessing it's a shape/projection mismatch issue. I typically measure as a 30F. I don't have a lot of "squish" in my underbust so a 29-30" band is ideal for me.
This longline is pretty sporty - a lovely plum purple mesh fabric with copper hardware. Although it's a longline, there are only three hooks to fasten at ...the back - the band becomes narrower there so it's easy to do up yourself. There is no boning but there is a second line of elastic along the sides - from the inside it honestly looks like a regular bra with a longline band sewn over it. It's pretty supportive though so I'm not complaining.
The elastic at the edge of the cup cuts in slightly but since it's only more towards my sternum, it's not visible under tops. There is some shaping but it's not as fully front and center as, say, Cleo Marcie or something like that. But it's still lifting and rounding for my not very-self-supporting-breasts, just not so much "centering." I don't care because IT'S COMFORTABLE (and still looks good under tops). Another bra that certainly couldn't fit me, but as I have it in my hands brand new and there is very little about it on Bratabase, I've measured it.
This bra is unlined. The straps are a bit stretchy and fully adjustable. The cup is sewn of four pattern pieces. It's nice that the navy stars on white background print covers the whole bra band and not just the front.
This bra falls into the "probably the correct size, but not a good fit" category. The deep plunge is perfect, the wire width is good, the top of the cup sits evenly across... BUT, the cup has hardly any depth close to the wire (which I need) and so slides down a bit, and too much depth at the apex of the cup- while not exactly visible- I can feel it. This bra currently sits in my (large) bag of unfitting bras.
I wish i could wear it - but longlines are definietly not for me. Shame bravissimo doesnt offer it as a normal bra, as definitely Id buy it! Im very glad you like it (at least the aesthetics)
