This bra is great! The 30GG fit me as well, but I sized up to prevent quadboob while in motion since my boobs are so soft. This is a gorgeous but simple comfortable bra, works well as a t-shirt bra or under more formal things. Plus, Bravissimo keeps putting out the same bra in different colors and styles, so if it works for you, you're in good hands!

My new favourite! Light, unobtrusive, supportive enough for day-to-day wear (if not for jogging), surprisingly minimising. I also personally love the triangle. Creates a somewhat pointed shape without much lift. Note that wires are stiff and cup sizes run small. I've heard rumours that this bra isn't too durable, so I'll update this in a month or so to let you know if it's falling apart.

Me: Narrow roots, narrow shoulders, evenly round, lots of immediate projection, slightly FoB, slightly centre full, never met a gore I didn't like, left-heavey by more than a cup size, 31" underbust, but prefer tight band with extender. Panache, Freya size 30GG

More and more I am convinced that side support panels cut into immediate projection!

Band is looser than Freya, Panache, and Curvy Kate - no extender needed.

The wire is fairly soft and fairly U-shaped. The centre gore maintains its width for an inch and a half before it statres to curve out. The straps, of course, are too wide, but only just. I needed the cup size up I usually need in CK and Flirtelle, but it stall has an angled flatness to the top part of the cup that cuts at my centre fullness and accentuates the pointier shape.

Excellent quality materials (except the wires) and three hooks and scalloped fully adjustable straps. I just think I need to give up on the side support panels design!

  4. Alana Bra (AU01)

This is my best fitting bra. It is good quality (but not luxurious), well made and comfortable. The wires a a little wider and shorter than average. They are also more flexible than Panache for instance, but they still provide good support. The wings are not very high, which is comfortable for shorter women. The straps are wide and not the prettiest, but they are comfortable. The straps are quite wide-set and the side of the cup contains my tail of spence while waring it. In most balonette bras I find this painful, but not for the Alana. The band is wide with 3 hooks for better support. The cups are closend on top, which might be an issue for tall roots.

Fits me well, a nice comfortable pretty bra. The band does stretch a lot however.

Doesn't sit on my sternum properly so not the best looking bra or my most comfortable.

Review for Alana in White. I measure a 28HH; close-set, round, Full-on-Bottom + Top (Even).

For more detail, see 30HH Black Alana review.
Band is too large; quadboobing at the front; gore is narrow and painful; wires too wide; some creasing below the cup and where lace and straps meet is quite painful/cuts into arm.

In Ivory. I measure approx 28HH; round, evenly Full-on-Bottom and Top, close-set and possibly a tall root as well,

Band: It is too large for me, rising at the back. I like how thick the band and hooks are, however, and it is very comfortable in that regard.

Cups: Too small for my larger left side with gore jutting out and a lot of tissue spillage at loose lacey top part when gore is pushed flush to my sternum.

Wires and Gore: Are wide (as can be seen by the empty fabric on my right side and creasing below cup), typical in this size range but is one of the ... better ones from my recent try-buys = Bravissimo’s range Alana + Thea and Cleo’s Marcie, Lily, Millie + Lucy. Gore is like a Cleo Marcie bra, it is very narrow and stabs into my chest as there is no fabric between the wires to allow the gores to curve off of my breast, thus a little uncomfortable.

Cup Fit: Lace seems to be very stretchy one me compared to Cleo Millie and Lily's and is a bit gaping where the strap and cup meet on my right; the left seems fine; not sure how this will be affected when I try the 28J.

Construction/Quality: I love the elasticated part of the wing (see image) and the lace is very soft and double-lined (print on front, thin mesh behind), its extremely pretty and of great quality as well.V ery pretty material, love the lacing detail on the straps and on the wings. I think a different kind of bow would be prettier than the lace at the gore although I like that they tried something different and it could easily be removed.

Comfort/Profile: Find it comfortable to wear and I like the profile shape as – like a lot of reviews – gives a lovely round shape and it’s so rare to find something as girly and lacey as this in my size. Will be returning it for a 28J.

Why isn't this bra popular https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_surprised.gif" alt=":O" />. Its amazing.
It doesn't fit me at the moment, but its so pretty that I will keep it so that one day when I lose weight, it might work. Its beautiful, with little flower details, soft stitching, soft colors, etc and putting it next to my Curvy Kate Princess, you can see obvious similarities.

The biggest plus though is that the Primrose is definitely made for the women Curvy Kate can't fit. If you have close together, non-shallow breasts this bra is made for you. The only downside is that it runs a cupsize or two small. The band was a little tighter than my usual Cleos too, but not enough that I would have wanted a 32 band.

This is the strangest bra I've ever put on. It smashed my boobs and made them look so small! I suppose that would be great if I was looking for a minimizer bra.
This bra runs really small. The band is small, but I loved it, super firm and great.

The cups however seem to be at least 2 cup sizes too small.
This was just all wrong for me.

Have a little loose fabric at the top of the bra, but I think this is more my bottom-heavy, soft breasts than the size (would work a bit better with full on top breasts). Could possibly have gone for a GG over the H, but then my larger breast may not have been comfortable. Overall a wearable everyday bra - I have no others currently that fit so I can't be too picky, with returns being difficult from my country.
Band quite fitted at first but is quickly loosening up (at 31 inches I'm between sizes, but generally find 32 bands too loose too soon). I bent the ... underwires to fit my rib shape, as my ribs protrude quite a bit directly under my breasts (mild scoliosis). This made it much more comfortable. Wider wires encapsulate all my wide-root breast tissue. Tiny bit of orange in a glass with the shape, but not enough to be a 'no'. Overall shape is fairly good, natural though slightly pointy in a couple of tops. Will do fine until I have a bigger (any) selection of bras.
